Hey Tim, I live in south Georgia..never seen snow like that and don't want too..not at my house! We may get some flurries, but not too often. Every"blue moon", we may get an inch or two of snow, but nothing more and that's rare!
I have the same 2650 with the third function valve with a plow blade too and it sure works well. I have the turf tires on mine that grip very good in the snow.
You sure have nice fluffy snow there. Up here in the Canadian prairies the snow blows for a hundred miles before coming to rest in the driveway. It's real tired and stiff by that time. Stuff is hard as heck. You can't push it. I've had to break it up wit the bucket then turn around to blow it with the rear blower. And, yup it's great to have a cab. At 73, there's not enough Eddie Bower out there to make me comfy on an open station tractor. I have a half mile driveway that makes my Massey 1742 earn it's keep.
That's interesting Fred. I'm 73 also and I try to do things the smart way now days.. Lol. I'm thankful I have the cab on the tractor now. You will have to tell me more about where you live and life on the Canadian Prairies.
I have had snow blowers too. They are great with light fluffy snow but my experience taught me that wet snow tends to plug them up.. I had a 72" blower on the back of my D40 Case and that thing was an animal! So yes, snow blowers are dandy too. I had a chance to buy this little kubota with cab and went for it.
@ it was a great choice I wasn’t going buy a cab tractor but my wife insisted I get a cab. Man do I love her it was a smart thing to do . Seams like a very time I use the tractor it’s raining cold or snowing.
is your kubota a hydro?? if so how do you like it? does it run a snowblower okay? ive heard the hydros need more hp to run pto equip than gear tractors.
I have a deere 1023e (23 engine hp and even less on the pto) and it runs a 5 foot blower no problem, in deep snow it for sure works but with the hydro you can easily back off the pedal and just creep if you have to. I run a 5 foot blower no problem but if you have alot of wet snow you could always get a 4 foot blower.
Yes you are right. Hydro tractors take more hp than the gear tractors. I've had both. This little 2650 is a hydro and for what I use it for, I like it a lot. Real handy for loader work and snow plowing not having to shift gears manually. If a guy is thinking of going the hydro route, I recommend buying at least 10hp bigger than you think you need. The other thing about a hydro tractor is, you always have to operate at a high rpm to run it. I have never had a snow blower for this 2650 but you can put one on it. I imagine Kabota has it engineered to able to run one okay. Now, I have a 40hp Case tractor which is a gear tractor. That thing is an animal.

@@TimTools99 Lots of good reading on Tractor by Net. Have posted on there a few times.

I live up by the 😊 tug Hill and we're getting hammered
Hello Billybald. I went to college at OCC 50+ years ago and I remember how tug hill used to get the snow. Stay safe up there.
I live in Michigan I have the same tractor but I use a 63” front snowblower. It’s perfect I only move the snow once .

@@TimTools99 yes i remember seeing that case 40 in your earler videos. thanks for the reply. Whatever you do on your channel is always done well.
Not much snow where I'm at... thankfully.
Hi Niccho. We got another 6" today. I've been shoveling my roof.
@TimTools99 yuck!
Tim
Have you put skis on your Harley so you don’t miss a good ride in the snow ??
Now that would be something! LOL
I painted my kitchen !!
If you look on the side of the tractor hood, you'll see how to spell Kubota.
Well shit. Lol. I don't win any awards in spelling buy I get by with a little help from my friends.
Dumb question from California: Why couldn't you take a garden hose and just hose the snow off of the roof? 👍
Well.... you possibly have never experienced snow. That would not be an option unless you are looking to make a glacier.
Kubota … not kabota !!!
Yes.... I am a piss-poor speller. I knew it was Ku but I had a brain fart that day. Ha!
