Let's not forget that in the end, we can control who we are and what we become. I can't stop the plastic pollution alone, nor will I end environmental exploitation, climaye change, poverty, hunger, animal abuse and murder alone, but I can choose to lead a life of peace, love, kindness and integrity by simply being vegan and if we lived by our morals, we could change it, prevent it, and even reverse it.
This song came on in my headphones when I was flying away from Hawaii after having lived there for 2 years, I remember the lights of Oahu fading as a flew away. Such a vivid memory

I'm from California and all I want to do all day every day is surf in my precious Pacific. When I find a way home, I will dedicate myself to taking care of the ocean that I so desperately love and miss. Thank you for bringing this problem into sharper focus. I am shocked and appalled by the fact that you found all of that trash on your home beach. My heart aches for everyone and everything that depends on the oceans that people don't think twice about throwing their trash in. I'm lighting a candle for all our oceans futures. Much love and good vibes from me to all of you, and especially to all our oceans.
Jack you give me company even if I never met you. I tried to explain my 3y old daughter why I didn't want her to use plastic straws to drink juice and coconut water. We live in Rio and most waste ends up in the Guanabara Bay. I'm deeply sad about that and try to live a zero waste life-style since we don't have access to recycling where I live. I showed her a video of a turtle hurt with a plastic straw and immediately felt bad about doing that. Thank you for showing me you're concerned too. This video is nicer than the turtle one. So nice when I see parents and their little children growing together the right way. Wish I could say the same for my own neighbors kids and parents with litter. Years ago I saw the videos of the birds on a far away island dying with plastic in their stomachs and it all over the island. The a few years ago I saw the seals in I think South Africa being rescued daily by guys and organization to remove the plastic, fishing lines and other man made items from around their necks. I am a vegan I I do my best to not buy anything that can not be recycled, so only a can or container that is number 1 or 2 and bring it to my recycle center myself. I eat mostly raw and only one meal a day as well, so I cut a lot out just by that. Teach the children well as Whitney sang and let them also teach us too. Bless you, your daughter and your family with love and its wisdom to live a better lifestyle for you guys, the planet and all on Her. May everyone awaken within to a higher consciousness of Love and its Wisdom. When we all do what you do, what I do and what others do and share, we can add or subtract things and then each day more people can learn and do it as well. Love Christopher

This song makes me think of the phrase, “What would you do, if money wasn’t the object?” Like I’ve always been so focused on the idea that money doesn’t matter that I haven’t been able to learn anything about life. Just thinking about how money ruins different things. But genuinely, this song makes me realize I just have to do what I love and everything else should just fall in place.
