Jack Johnson saved my life. I’ve listened to him nearly everyday since 2010. He got me through abuse at home, foster system, thoughts of ending my life, deep trauma, pain, sorrow. Thank God for Jack. He is my hero
To me this comment sounds racist.

Through Him, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways,

Biblical explanation of the Gospel:
God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why

gather with me scatters.'' He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but
rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam
sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23)
The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23).
Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell.
For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life and resurrected.
None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all
have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us
are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is
guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit
to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal
hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it, but we don't want to be damned.
Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16)
We aren’t saved based on our good deeds/works, but only by the grace of God through faith.
''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -
not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins
(past, present, future) to be forgiven if we repent and trust in Him.
''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15)
''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19)
Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8).
Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin.
While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6)
If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually.
(John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."
When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)
You are born again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36)
''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7)
If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes -
to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God.
You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace
revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son.

''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10)
You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ.
As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so.
In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.''

Please get right with God and start your relationship with Jesus Christ today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left!

Surfing saved my life. It got me through some of the hardest times I’ve experienced in my 32 years of life on this planet. Here is it, Tuesday, March 17th, 2020. The Covid-19 outbreak is really heavy right now. At the end of the day I tell myself, “Tomorrow you surf. It’s gonna be a solid swell.” The moment my feet hit the water. Nothing matters anymore. It’s just the ocean and me. Long live surfing. Long live love.

I love Jack Johnson but I do not know much of his stuff. I was searching for a song to share because the ocean has saved my life from severe childhood pain and trauma. I have just lost my partner and sister in tragic circumstances who were very young. I began to paint, I got back into the ocean and swam under the waves and I could not stop. This song is so moving. I have cancer surgery in a week and this is it. This is the song that I will be playing on repeat. I am sending hope and healing to everyone. The world is chaotic and everyone is going through something. I am going to dedicate my platform on Instagram to helping others through the ocean's ability to heal and how anyone can be creative. Merging art and the ocean is a beautiful recipe for healing. Love and light
At 16, I'm beginning to find a new home at the waters edge. Lived near the Florida Gulf coast my entire life, but never considered the gift I was given. Jack's music has helped me to realize how the ocean is a friend to no man, yet it accepts all those who wander near enough. Its scary to see those who have accepted the gift since they were young and been living it their whole life. This song shows how, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter where you come from, whatever path you've gone down, the ocean waits with open arms.

I have never surfed a day in my life. But this reminds me when I would sit on the beach (Santa Cruz, California) and watch the surfers for hours. Oh the 70's. Great song!

Nothing else matters... 25 years ago I took a greyhound from Portland Maine to Fort Lauderdale Florida for $45.. I wanted to play Semi Pro Beach Volleyball and be at the Ocean \ Beach everyday.. I was living my life for summers and just wasting away during winter.. I now live in a condo third floor overlooking Ormond by the Sea Florida.. I played semi pro beach volleyball for 15 years. There’s a reason why they say if there’s a will there’s a way you can make it happen

Been surfing since '64. Started in Santa Barbara at Hammonds. Just turned 71 and I still paddle out at my local here in Taranaki New Zealand where I have lived for the last 20 years. I just ride the waves on my stomach now but I still get the stoke. It's the feeling of catching a wave that puts a smile on your face.

I get it, I actually hate ocean water, but I get the love you have for the ocean because I feel the same way about hiking and tracking wildlife in Colorado. Nothing like walking up on a bear family and them not knowing you're there so you can observe the cubs fighting and preparing to leave their mothers. Or sitting on a big boulder in the middle of 500 elk, and all the bulls are pissed they can't get to you. Or walking up to a bobcat screaming at 2am just to scream back at him from 10 feet away, and him falling off his perch terrified you got that close. I love the mountains and everything in them, shoot photos not guns it will last much longer.

I love the ocean more than any "thing". I love surfing more than any thing I do. I live miles away and miss it all the time. Surfing saved my life gave me something more to hold onto. It was something that gave me a joy and feeling of being alive that I hadn't known till I did. This video randomly found me today!

I don’t surf but I am dying to learn. I tried recently in Cocoa and couldn’t find my footing but I did get to belly surf. It was a magical feeling, even that. Anyway, I see myself in her. I come back to this video all the time. Not even in context of surfing but in the context of the hurdles life throws at young women. Always makes me cry. I love it. I really see an exact representation of myself.

This is as close to a perfect articulation of what the ocean means to me. I spent my entire formative years on the water, fishing, swimming and soaking it in. At UCSB I spent every Friday morning after class surfing. Even seen a thresher shark a few times! Now at law school in pacific northwest and miss that isla vista water bad. One day I'll be back!
