I just think wireless is better due to venues. More freedom to move around. Other than that, there's not much difference sound wise depending on the quality of the cable or the wireless system.
every single time i see/hear someone bring up wireless systems, someone insists that it butchers your tone. if there's any difference whatsoever, only an audiophile could hear it. even then, i'm not convinced that they're not just imagining shit. even if it _did_ have a discernible impact on your tone, it still wouldn't matter. shows are fucking _loud._ our ears weren't made to hear loud shit with such clarity, it all starts sort of blending together and gets difficult to make out the individual guitar parts and minor details. if clarity is what you're after, listen to the recording, no one uses a wireless system for recording. folks go to shows because it's fun and it's a unique social experience. i can't even tell you how many times i've royally fucked up on stage without anyone noticing. hell, i've been completely unplugged before, vocalist ripped the power supply out of one of my pedals, and it took a few seconds for me to even notice.
We could get a better comparison between the two if you would play a few bars then switch to the other cause we aren't going to remember all of that you played. So when you swap over, I have no idea if they sound the same or different cause I can't remember. Just a tip for future videos if you want.
Yes man ... I have a new wireless so I will make a new video soon ... that's a good idea ... now try to go back and forth to listen the differences and stay tuned to see the new video in the week coming ...
In this demo the wireless is higher fidelity. That cable is compressed with alteration. (the proof of cable signal loss rears it's head in interesting ways.) However a cable has been designed that will electrically minimize loss...(above that rather good wireless sound;)
Even though on high-end systems the difference is marginal, it is not to forget thar a good cable is quite cheaper than an equally good wireless system. Also not to forget youtube audio is lossely compressed.
If your into guitar trades I have some v's dime-fr on all frankensteined les paul epi nightfall..dean Frankie with white Seymour active. fr-dead emg in rhythym (sp)...just traded 2 for an esp m-1000 snow white active esp 81x2.....esp grassroots explorer black no Floyd" tune o matic active emg's! bought in Europe...metallica hetfield
The wireless has a slight punchier, meatier tone. That said, the difference is so marginal. I had to jump back and forth to compare. On stage or in the studio it really doesn't make a noticeable difference to my ear.

So wireless or cable is not much different :) good (y)
helo.. you prefer line 6 relay wireless or shure GLXD series?
I don't know to be honest... I heard many good things for l6...
cable sounds much more warm and full - the wireless is a little thinner and brighter - need to upgrade wireless to a better quality one
What type of Marshall cabinet is that? I haven't seen one with a metal frame.
1960 DM Dave mustaine

There is not much of a difference between wireless and wire !!!
