Great video, I've had mine off before to do the kingpins but wanted a reminder before doing the brakes this time, few nice tips like I didn't know about greasing the pins before, cheers

Great videos man keep it up. Any chance of a walk around video showcasing all the mods that you've put on your beast of a jimny?

ive got 30" tires on my 2013 zook and original disks and calipers. she doesnt pull up well at all! ive had a few close calls. so im thinking of swapping my disks and possible calipers out for vitara ones as there a bit bigger. i havnt checked out my breaks properly yet as i havent removed my wheels. but im just wondering if youve go the stock breaks on your zook, or have you swapped them out for bigger ones as youve got 31" tires. thanks mate!

Great video 👍🏻. What do you know about death wobble? My Jimny has been heavily modded everything upgraded (Brought the vehicle already modified) I’m getting a severe case of death wobble between 30mph and 45mph, it’s unbearable 😫. Doesn’t seem to be any play in the kingpins and i’ve replaced the Panhard bushes with uprated ones. Still the same! It looks like there may be a bit of play in my steering box but not sure if that would cause it 🤔. Have you ever had this issue in your Jimny if so how did you fix it? Keep up the good work 💪🏻

Hey mate usually there’s 3 things with Jimmy’s. King pins need shims, incorrect caster or the control arm bushes are fingered. I’ve never had a death wobble in mine but I put the jimny bits extended control arms in straight away. Maybe try the shim kit you can get for the king pins

changed all the bushings!! 2007 soft top jimny. Before I had Super super bad wobble at 70-75km/h. So bad I thought I was very dangerous.. Initially I thought it was king pins or bearings but no. it was the bushing.. I also have I lifted it up(+4) with ARB springs and EMU shock. It rides very nice now. (EMU feel a bit too soft but nice)..bTW make sure you get polyurethane bushings )

Watch the last 2 minutes of the video. Filming the steering wheel while I’m bedding in the brakes. No shudder 👍

@@jimnythings2410 I watched the whole video, wasn't sure if it would shudder with harder or more abrupt breaking than you were doing at that point. It's all good, thanks for the useful info.
