Let's celebrate the summer sun, and all the beauty that it gives its energy to by making a soap inspired by a favourite native to the west coast, Yarrow.

If you are a soaper and looking for a recipe to try, here's this one. I personally love it, but I've been holding out on posting it because I've had to adjust water levels slightly due to the extreme humidity that I live in. I didn't want to give false information. Please give it a try and tell me what you think
Simple Cold Process Soap Recipe:
Distilled water 11oz (I use 10.5oz)
Lye 4.8oz
Coconut oil 12oz
Shea Butter 6oz
Avocado oil 12oz
Castor oil 4oz
Fragrance oil 2oz (if using essential oils please research safety levels)
*Mica or natural colourants based on your recipe
and ALWAYS use safety gear when handling Lye
