Your quick shifter seems to work perfectly which is fairly unusual....have you changed anything?
Mine works like a charm too. Only thing you need to do is to give the lever a little bit more pressure than other bikes need.
Just smash the gears, works fine at any rpm. Changes are definitely quicker at higher rpm but works all through the rev range for me
