@@WindHashira I think that was definitely intentional since Kojima knew he was getting fired and that Konami would try to remove his name from the project (as they have been doing with some of his other games) so he just put his name in so many places to the point where they couldn't be bothered to remove it all.
The amount of awkwardly contrived effort just to kill the other player is too enjoyably hilarious and something that is just so endearingly MGS to the core.
This isn't even half of it! This game was a blast... I remember all the custom lobbies people used to make.. Prison RP... Knife Fighting Clubs... This game had the best multiplayer community I ever met and I'm going to cherish every memory, good or bad, specially the hilarious lagging and lag switching with the ragdolls going ham. Cheers, this game will always have a special place in my heart

That game has freaking awesome gameplay even if never reached not even 10% of its potential because it was basically abandoned one year after its launch and was infested by laggers and cheaters and trolls...but when you hit the right game with the right people it was just phenomenal. I hope we'll have a new MGO with Snake Eater remake, we deserve it😢 😢

A well organized team of people helping each other can't be beated even by a team made all of great players but who play in a selfish way! Sadly often happened that people were too stupid...I can report THOUSANDS of times in which my own team mates stealed my points 😂😂😂 It could have been fixed by simply making some updates by Konami, like giving penalties to players who did that...but now that I think, nevermind, the game was funny even because of this shit, today I think of that with nostalgia 🥲
If Konami includes this PC game with multiplayer in their master collection vol2, I assure you that I will buy it no matter the cost, no matter the price, I love this game and I enjoyed it a lot at the time when it came out on ps3.
i doubt they will include multiplayer but it would be great to have an updated MGO... but just to let you know, it is playable right now on PC and PS3 if you weren't aware

there are many game modes, this specific one is called “sneaking” two teams (red&blue) try to find and kill snake to win, while snakes goal is to stun either team and collect their dog tags to win. (usually 3 dog tags/3 snake deaths) check the video “x2 consecutive snake wins” on my channel to see snakes perspective

Never even knew Mei Ling was playable in this one, I got into the series well beyond it's lifetime so I never got to experience mgo until TPP
