I REALLY love corvettes and this design too. I wish you would have optimized the ship for PCU. This ship looks like you could maybe make it sub 2,000 PCU with basically the same capabilities if you take remove a lot of that turret spam, toilets, etc.
This is my favourite class of ships, some people are saying this ship cant take the factorum warship, I think with the right pilot it could. The interior turrets are a waste time imo not needed.
It really depends on the amount of guns and overall flight performance your ship has. In my experience a corvette with good firepower and great maneuverability can easily take on a ship 3 times its size so long as the player stays on the move. I have a corvette design that works really well it’s not that much bigger than the one in this video however it focuses more on point defense weapons than heavy turrets. Basically I have my guns set to shoot the enemy grids guns and thrusters that way I can strip a ship of its defenses and then scrap it without losing too many valuable blocks. People really do underestimate the value these little ships can have especially when we’ll design.
it seems nice but id suggest adding a bit more detail to the rear (its perfectly fine without it) and cange the primary color to something other than the default gray
@@bluebird_21_SE I took a look, and I think that there's two reasons you can't achieve airtightness is the crew compartment. 1. Any armored block with the word "tip" in it, isn't airtight, and you've got the crew compartment surrounded by 2x1x1 tip blocks: I rearranged the bathroom to face the bed, replaced the bed with an inset bed facing aft, replaced the kitchen with an inset kitchen, and placed a locker over the panel between the bed and the desk. 2. The hydrogen engine isn't airtight, either and it's sitting right above the survival kit: switch the placement of the batteries and hydrogen engine fixed that. Scratch the first point: switching the batteries and hydrogen engines did the trick, alone, I just had to push the button to trigger pressurize/depressurize.
Looks good and functional. Definitely not going to solo a Factorum Warship, but as part of a group, it should contribute very nicely. 👍
Well traditionally corvettes are support ships so it’s not a good idea to use only a corvette unless your competent in its abilities.
This design is genius, its smal and heavy armed, the only thing lacking is a bit more colour. 9/10 build i like it very much :)
people dont understand that the game started developing like 5 seconds ago
It kinda looks like halo's UNSC frigates
Typical gun design.
I like your designs they look like they're classed
Thanks.
Just needs a stock and a trigger, looks like a sawn off :D

It's so compact! I love it!
I fear whoever puts railguns on their corvettes
Looks great

Engine Guard?
Engine Cowling?
Spaced armour, but mainly for the looks.
I can't find your corvette on the Steam Workshop.
Try the link in the video description. It should be there.
