Hell yeah this was dope. Im a Filipino half Mexican that grew up in pacoima and hearing this dude talk about the valley and Asian gangs from back then brought back some memories bro. Good shit this channels dope.
Great interview cuddy, Pare is actually how I found you lol. I gravitate to your channel more because PY talks more on prison politics. Keep grinding and putting on for all our people in the AAPI community. Both you and PY's voices are more than needed to help put on frfr. Already fiending for the next video! Stay up OG!
Maybe you need to do a Jefrox Doc next. I kept hearing their name and I think I had some older brothers from church rep JFX back in the late 80's - early 90's.
Been saving this one in ‘watch later’ for a hot minute until I had good time to watch it straight and it was so worth it! Great work man and respect to Pare Young also 💪
In the 1980's there was a JeFrox Gang spelled JEPROX or JPX in the SF BAY AREA.Their mark is a upside down question mark with the letter J P X at the corners of the diamonds. It look a lot like the Blue Oyster Cult band logo. They were chapters in San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Milpitas. Small compared to southern California but still legit.
I respect what your doing bro. But I wish someone could tell my story one day. I’m the Total opposite of you guys being a Cambodian living in New York City you can imagine how that goes From being bully as a kid getting jump every other day it was hard making friends at my age and it wasn’t because kids don’t wanna be my friends it because my mom wouldn’t let me have friends you know how Asian parents are , then moving from one hood to another hood i moved from the ghetto of Bronx to the ghetto of southphilly to meeting my Asian Cambodian homie , then to gang life to getting lock up for the first time to my best friend dying to going hard on the drug Addiction. Smdh I’m 40 now and man let me tell you a had a hell of a bad ride.. but because of my kids I’m slowly getting my life together now. Yeah but someday someone would tell my story. Anyways keep up the good work my G love what your doing.
Great subject for an interview. This dude comes off real intelligent and forthright in his answers. Didn't know Maplewood JFX beefed with MS H'Ls. Always thought it was a just matter of time since MS posted up at SM @ Western starting shit with everybody. That intersection was a big RTD / MTA transfer point so a lot of hoods and crews passed thru there
My bro didn't know you lived in my hood. NHills , I lived on Parthenia near the schools or behind the Ford dealer. Just saw this video popped on my home page. Always interesting to watch you lil bro! I'm in my home town Vegas now. I'll see u again soon!
Just subscribed to your channel and I’m interested in seeing interviews from the point of view of the members. You have a good way of presenting stories and I think you would do a sick job. I like watching American Cholo, Akademiks, NoJumper, Vlad, and I think you have the potential to be on par with them because you’re covering Asian Gangs that hardly anyone has touched on. Great content.
In LA that was the style, double socks on the phat farms shoes, rubber bands to hold your pants, shorts under pants, and XXL pro club shirt. Nowadays it’s skinny jeans and fit shirts in 2021
this is a good 1, i really like this interview, infact his a friend of mines, "Pare Young" here in philippines.. did alot of time as well before i got sent out here to be deported..
I grew up in KTown in the 80’s and 90’s. Lots of pinoy gangs like JFX, Flip Town Mob, Satanas, Tres Cantos, Pinoy Real etc. I wonder if they’re still around.
ktown jefrox pretty much died out by the time pare was in valley side. That is the reason why turtle and monster from ktown jefrox made mental boyz. And this was late 98s to 00s. Valley jefrox sbz click went pretty hard.
Im that kid that got away. From being a migrant to Guam. Getting on that gang life, street brawls, knife fights, bats, and snubs. Been to DYA, DOC and Federal. Then went to Japan and went on another level, Organized Crime, Yakuza Associate and slanged everything that profits. Went to jail in Japan. Then finally went home to the motherland PI to get some college. Only to find myself on a whole another level. An evolved form of myself. And damn I'm just born to be a gangster. Things got thick and the world went upside down a few years ago. And the only reason I'm alive is because of all the things I learned along the way. Millions packed and passed my pockets, blood bled through my hands. So many tears from everybody that I lost and what I had to sacrifice. Yet I'm still here. 39 yrs old. In the best shape I've ever been. Still strong. I've lost a lot, but I'm still here. I'm that kid that got away. Hope one day you tell my story.
They gonna need a much older jfx cat to interview becoz i don't think pare young knows everything about his own hood no offence specially the early years and how it started.
He thought he was cool 🤣 Pare Yung says he doesn't condone to gang banging but he still throws up gang signs in his videos and thumbnail. Pare yung is from a gang called jetfrogs Or something like that.
Most Asian gangsters from the late 80s-90s were straight A students and from good families…it was the tines back then…no gang meant no girls and you always got jumped
Bru make a video about asian boys style aka abs, a pinoy gang, and muddy boyz pinoys crips we waiting for u to dropped that video pls reply in my comment. Appreciate it pare🤜🤛

Another classic! Do you interview non affiliates about experiences / interactions with gangs in LA I have a couple one happened in flipinotown and the other in East Hollywood. Either way great interview
Just for clarification, in 99 there was already a massive influence of hip-hop & US gang style back in Pinas. We started back in 93 & 94. US style gangs were poppin like mushrooms at that time. By the way, how the hell Pare Young went to the states wearing skinnys?
I was in masada.. The placement for gang and drug rehabilitation.... That was some wild shit.. Every hood and gang mixed up in a group home set up... Yeah that was poppin off all the time
Why do I feel like I know this guy… when he mentioned the socks under the tongue and rubber bands that held pant cuffs.. all he just had to mention was Fulton middle school and Cyber field!

Should do one on BNG or STS they are older Pinoy hoods and also PR

@jboy1 you must of never been up north
It’s the same thing in San Diego as well, big Pinoy community and a lot of violence within the community.
