Will The Headlight Doors Work On The Green Goblin? (1972DodgeCharger)

- Well, I'm trying to figure out why my hideaway headlight doors won't operate properly with the headlights. Sometimes I just throw my hands in the air and say Uncle!
You have really brought this car back up to speed this year Mike👌 its inspiring me to work on my old crusty Mopar.

I just had the same problem on my Chrysler. There is a relay under the dash, mine was next to the steering column. I had to change the wiring slightly but everything works now. Should be a video coming out soon.

The one I have doesn't have hideaway head lights. Sometimes it's a vacuum problem with this type of problem
@@CAROLDDISCOVER-FINDER2525 min us solely electric as far as I have been told. There are no vacuum fittings for the motor or the doors.

Frustrating as that is.... its still much better than GM & FoMoCo's vacuum operated ones..... lololol.
Sounds like that old 70's relay isn't throwing a full 12v to it. Nathans comment sounds spot on.

@BareRoseGarage Thanks Brother Bare. I'll get back to it pretty soon. I just get really frustrated by wiring. That's why even though I clearly labeled every connection on the wiring harness that I transferred from the D250 to the Blue Goose, I still ended up having my neighbor come over to help me get it working properly.

I had the same problem with a 70 charger I used to have, I rigged up new wiring and a toggle switch but probably should have just replaced the relay.👍
