I am a little behind in watching but I also love vintage embroidery pieces. I look for them all the time when out shopping in my favorite second hand stores. I also love to find vintage hand crocheted doilies. Love your floss tubes.
Congratulations on finishing the Pear design, it is lovely, nice start on the Plum Street Sampler, love the yarn you pick for your knitting. Have a great time at Market.
Your FO is GORGEOUS! It’s so funny because I have Such a connection to that chart! I grew up on a pear ranch in NoCal (so that represents my Dad,) and my Mom is a Master Gardener and her favorite flower is roses. You could choose some of your Grandparents to honor by stitching their initials and important dates? I love that you’re doing the Kal, I’ve been an avid knitter for 40 years and was brought back to X St in 12/20 and have fallen head over heels in ❤ with that ever since. Knitting has been taking a backseat, but that’s ok! Have fun with all of your fibery pursuits!
Hi Kari! Great video and congratulations on your finish. Pears symbolizes fruitfulness and femininity. I think you could do your and your friends initials to symbolize both . You could also put this year since you finished it in 2024. ❤
I would join a SAL for socks. I have knitted tube socks but I don't wear them that much because I'm afraid the heel will wear thin quicker than an actual knitted heel. We could choose self striping yarn or a gradient and a simple rib cuff pattern and then knit the rest.😊
I love your finish of The Rose and the Giant Pear, it's absolutely so beautiful. Your American Sampler is looking so great too. Thank you so much for another great stitching update and thank you for all that you do.
About your finish I haven’t finished my first sampler yet but I think since you started this for your stitchy friends birthday maybe personalize it with her initials and birthday as a remembrance of why you stitched it. That or leave as is. It’s just as beautiful that way too! 👍 I think I’ll make my samplers meaningful to my situation if the dates don’t apply to you: 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Kari I've done both left what was there or I've changed it. It just depends on the sampler. If it's an older sampler I'll leave it the same as charted.
Team My Way
Gorgeous finishes! Beanies are looking great, too. Happy everything!😍
I’m definitely Team Fudge! Re personalising, it depends - I’m Team Do What I Want 😂
I am on team “Make it your own way.”

I’m on team personalize it for the one stitching not for someone two hundred years ago. Their name is given credit in their work and on the chart.
Lovely video! I jumped onto the shop and grabbed a few things. Super excited.

Great video have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Love the video today!
Why not put Alicia’s initials on the giant pair sampler along with the year to celebrate your friendship?

What was the collection you used for your advent keeper? I’m kicking myself for not getting your fq bundle when I had the chance.
Love your energy! How about your friends' initials and the year she was born? And how about Team Tweak? ❤
