i would do anything to learn this arrangement of People Get Ready. i would learn it from this video but the sound delayed. anyone know where i could learn this? cheers!
I had a go at transcribing it here www.dropbox.com/s/17npmnqkitxsvzm/People%20get%20ready%20arr.%20Ted%20Greene.pdf?dl=0 You need to tune the guitar down a half step to play along with Ted in the video. There are a couple of hammer ons and slides that I’ve not notated but it’s mostly there
vi ii V I It's a 1-6-2-5 progression starting on the 6. So if you're tuned down a half step: A minor, D minor (A in the bass), G major, C major (G in the bass)
That's a very common progression in tonal music. It basically consists in going through the key in 4ths. In the Key of Am it would be: Dm, G, C, F, Bº, E, Am. Notice the B is diminished because it's a triad. If It was a 7th chord it would be half diminished. Also notice that it starts on the IV chord (Dm), that's because by finishing on the I chord, if you go up another forth you can repeat the whole circle.
Un grand merci ted merci ta présence est toujours là
Par les vidéos merci encore thank you
