I've never done this but would have used a cylinder burr for that inside thinking and a ball in the corners, as you do. The finished product is quite beautiful, and I want to try it myself. @@WWsake She soaks in acetone. amazingly it doesn't hurt stones, though obviously wouldn't risk pearls, turquoise or opals, but most of these are hard stones if they're princess cut.
Out of curiosity, what do you do with the tiny bits/strands of silver (from the electric drill)??? I assume you collect and melt for future work .... Otherwise throwing away silver even in tiny amount is such a waste.

In the video description box she says it’s tacked down with glue which can then be removed by a soak in acetone :)
