I love that! Good idea about bringing one with long hair - I was trying to avoid long hair dolls cuz of tangling, but it's an added comfort I didn't think of! Love your channel, I just subscribed to you too. 😊

My current comfort dolls are Veronica and Naomi Storm from the Shadow High doll line, and they help me deal with my Aspergers, anxiety, depression, and lonliness! They feel like best friends to me even, and I can literally tell them anything!
I enjoyed how you brought outfits and PJs. I could see her sneaking wee bits of food off your plate and you sharing a snack. Emotional support dolls is the nicest idea. Next to a teddy bear.
Yes, I actually brought 2 of my favorites with me in my flight carry-on. They both fit in a plastic fashionista zip case. If I needed to put them on a checked bag, I would not have brought 2 of my favs.
*edit to last post* I've a work doll too. She's a Tonner doll called Hortencia she came from the cinderella line, she was one of the stepsisters and super gorgeous. if I have my tonner doll history right she's the earliest of the robert tonner to be plus size. she has super copper red hair that's in this victorian style bun with the most gorgeous ringlets ive seen and a black lacey corset underpinning outfit. She serves as my mini pattern design model. when i make a pattern for an outfrit from scratch i will first draw it up to her measurements and then see how it looks on her to see if it works, adjust the issues and then resize it to adult siz, while she keeps all the mock up tops lol. soon as my sewing schedule calms down I have to finish a dress i'm making her lol.

The other doll is the 1998 Steppin' Out Barbie, and yes, she does look like Marilyn. I have a Marilyn Barbie and they have the exact same hair. 😄 Good eye, Shae. Also, I love your last name. 😍
My comfort doll is also a petite barbie. It's Barbie Looks number 15 (Karl, but I named her Charlotte) . I don't know what it is but I just feel very attached to her. She's also a brunette (like me) and therefore she reminds me of a Theresa doll I had as a kid. I also have Barbie Looks number 1 (Lina) who I absolutely adore but she is quite expensive and I got her on sale so it'd be more costly to replace her in case something happens to that doll. Another comfort doll of mine is Barbie Looks number 6 (Victoria, the tall blonde). Both Victoria and Karl/Charlotte have soft, sleek and easily manageable hair. Barbie Looks 11 (Heide) also would have been a candidate travel doll if it wasn't for her curly hair which might get messy and tangled in between stuff. Number 7 (Tamika, petite doll) would have been great too because she has nice long hair but she has a hairdo which could get messed up.
Oh yes, Karl/Charlotte has such a sweet face, I can definitely see her bringing comfort and acceptance. ❤️ I love that you know the Barbie Looks dolls so well
This video had me thinking wouldn't it be great if someone did this with a my first barbie making extra clothes ect and accessories you have a lovely doll and cool idea I have a my first barbie (new tall version) aimed at toddler I ❤ her it's the colour doll threasa I think her name is got her as a used doll
I cracked up because I work from home and my office is in my doll room. My boss called me out of the blue and I answered on video call without my background up. I was trying to find the filter to put up my background and he goes "are those your dolls??" 😂😂 I laughed and turned on the filter just then and said, "dont ask!"

Bringing a doll along is a great idea & something collectors like to do even if others just don't get it 😆 I took my 4 mini me's on our first family cruise in Dec 2021 and my daughter & hubby thought I was crazy 😂 my autistic son didn't care he just goes with the flow 👍 I didn't get to use them much but I did change my own mini me's outfit & took photos of her even though I did feel self conscious about it 🤓 Do you have a mini-me too?
I love that! I bet they were a great addition to the photos of your trip. Like, those pics of traveling gnomes. 😅 Same concept, right! I'm actually not familiar with mini-me's. I'm trying to keep my collection to Barbie & Friends and Monster High. Although it's really hard to hold back buying an interesting new doll when thrift shopping!
