- Jerk Fest is an annual festival that celebrates Jamaican culture and cuisine, with a particular focus on "jerk" cooking-a style of cooking native to Jamaica where meat is marinated with a spicy mixture of seasonings and slow-cooked over a wood or charcoal fire. The festival typically features a variety of food vendors offering different jerk dishes, live music (often reggae, ska, or dancehall), dance performances, and cultural activities.

@sweetcocoslife7229 lol okay
You try some jerk with chicken from the motherland yet? Helmeted guineafowl (numida meleagris) african rice (oryza glaberrima) and cowpeas (vigna unguiculata)
No never try yet
I wish the chef at House of Jerk used a spoon for all the different meats he was putting on the callaloo. Using his hands with one set of gloves for everything not a good look.
He changed the gloves to show me the meet.
Good evening Kalvin, its a very good post. You have met some nice people there, serving some authentic Jamaican cuisines, some of which I have never heard of. I'm guessing the Kangaroos were imported. Everything there is looking extremely delicious. ❤💪👍🏽🙏🇬🇾💯
