So many times I have been in pashtu Afghanistan. Spin boldak, Khyber, Jalalabad, Gardez. And heard songs in pashtu, everywhere in teahouses. Have my own recordings of concerts in teahouses in small towns as Charikar and others. A wonderful language and fit for songs very apparently.

I took photos of the young afghan men standing in line at the fort for obtaining visas to go the Arab Emirates for work, There were no work opportunities in Daud Khan's Afghanistan. The secret police of the shah of Iran (Sawak) was operating in Afghanistan. There was tension everywhere, you could feel something was coming. And it was.
Pushto music is jus like traditional music of chitral and Gilgit northern area of pakistan.....we love pashtoo music.. pashtu music is popular in whole chitral and gilgit Pakistan.. pashtoon chitrali and gilgiti have almost same culture...zindabad pakistan afganistan 😘
