The roof makes the black wheels pop and blend in at the same time. No doubt that’s the prettiest design in its class. In person, it’s presence is ridiculous.
Yeeaaahhhh! I'm still in awe at the design at times. I've seen others on the road and the launch edition wheels are the difference. I do believe the G70 will maintain the same road presence this summer.
I enjoyed your review. I been thinking about getting this car maybe within a year. Your comments and video makes me think it would be a good choice for me.

Congrats on the 23! Not sure of the name. To get them go straight through Genesis parts at the dealership and ask for launch edition wheels for the G70. They will cost ya! 😅

Wanna know what is ridiculous, I got into this car from a 2020 Honda Accord, and this genesis car gets the same gas mileage as my 2.0 4 cylinder accord, it’s pretty damn sad
If this is the 2.0 and you are complaining about gas mileage not being good then I get it. But if you have the 3.3 L V6 TT then expecting good gas mileage is a ridiculous complaint.
@@Imleocalm 😄 I respect that. I am basing it on my experience owning 4 cyl turbos and V6 turbos... the gas mileage is not the same. Those V6 turbo engines are just not good on mpg.
@@truthis_truthdoesntmatter Yeah its weird because my Genesis Coupe (v6 3.8) gets 30mpg highway at 70mph. And my civic is a turbo gets 45+mpg highway. 😆

Has anyone had any issues with there heads up display? I have the silver sports prestige 2022 3 months old. My heads up display started showing a blue box behind numbers on my heads up display u can see at night. It’s like a 6 by 4 inch rectangle box floating behind my heads up display numbers. The genesis corporate engineers says it’s normal for the g70 model. Which is bs. I’ve never seen a heads up display with a blue box on it. Any thoughts would help
You I have a question, what is the cost for Maintenance, is a cheap like a Honda, Lexus or Toyota, or is it expensive like a BMW or a Mercedes, or its it between??? How much is a oil change compared to the competition???
@@Imleocalm What I am saying is this??? After the warranty is up, how much money will I have to put in to the car??? How much is the Oil change??? How much getting the tires change??? How much for certain fixes if your car doesn't work right. How much to change your brakes etc. Is it costly like the BMW or the Mercedes Benz, or it cost like a TOYOTA , LEXUS, and HONDA. I haven't seen anyone talking about that, so If you can fill us in on that, that would I appreciate.
@@Imleocalm thanks, I was curious because I was thinking about getting me one, because from the research I was doing Mercedes Benz and bmw are money pits, to expensive to maintain if something goes wrong and people would have to sell it vs a Toyota, Honda and a Lexus, the maintenance payment is amazing, don’t break your wallet, so for the genesis because a lot of people don’t have it, I haven’t seen a video talking about maintenance cost and is it worth it to keep. Does it break down once you hit a specific mileage like a Mercedes Benz. I just want to know the cost before I make a great purchase or a bad purchase for the car.
@@HyksosAmo it’s going to be hard for a 2022 owner to know this information first hand. You’re better off looking for results from the earliest 3.3T G70s and Kia Stingers, since they share the same drivetrain platform that still remains in the 2022. But with Genesis offering the 10 year 100k warranty… you won’t have much to worry about for a long time if you’re getting one new and keep it up. Used for a car like this is probably a really good value but someone may have run the hell out of it too. A good thing to note is that a V6 twin turbo has a lot mechanically going on, and by general rule, there are just more components that can fail. But this car’s tuning out of the factory is pretty laid back compared to what it’s capable of doing, whereas your similarly spec’d (and much higher costing) sport sedans from say BMW are factory tuned more aggressively. BMWs will also see failure rates more often as a result. One big benefit about this car is the sheer value. $$$/mileage, you’re gonna be a winner off of the lot leaving a Genesis dealership, and I’m willing to bet when the sad time comes for repairs, you’ll have done it less frequently, so you win again.

The trunk has a swoop, so I think if they exaggerated it a little more it would be fine. The headlights in not sure it needs it.
Fog lights are a must
