Haha- yes. Difficult to understand why eating a meal with a knife and fork that have a teensy engraving at the back end is a plus. Maybe it makes the food taste better.

At 7.32, re foil being left on a business class meal. I take your implication that it is not a particularly classy look, but on the other hand, it means the meal will stay warm, should you not wish to eat it immediately. So, you could consider it a thoughtful gesture, not a tacky one.
You have really upped your game now Paul! Love the new voiceover approach and most definately the subtitles as my other half is almost totally deaf so this means she doesn't have to miss out on anything in the video. Very well done and keep up the good work.

Love the new setup you are using with the voice over and such! It adds a lot to the overall feel and experience as it allows you the freedom to add in a lot more information as you go, but also add a warm tone to the video. I found your channel a while back and have enjoyed watching your reports immensely so it is great to see you evolve and grow as you bring us along for the ride. I just want you to know that while I have checked out many other travel report channels on here and other media, I always come back to you as I prefer your grounded approach and obvious joy for what you do. It is rather rare these days to find someone doing all of this for the right reasons, let alone sharing it with others, so a rather huge thank you for that. Looking forward to the next video. Well, it's not exactly Denver or DFW or Incheon or Beijing Capital... I've never been there, but it looks nice and efficient (other than the security peak moments). It would probably be larger if it weren't squeezed between London and Manchester at not so great distances. Besides, I remember when I still lived in my hometown, I received a guest from Germany (and from Frankfurt, to make matters worse!) and picked him up at the airport. Today my hometown has a large modern international airport with all the bells and whistles, but at that time it had a tiny old one, with only one baggage belt that was fed by hand from a tractor on the apron through an opening on the wall. Totally primitive, and I ironised it: "The most modern system..." My friend replied: "Much better than Frankfurt. My suitcase is already here. In Frankfurt it wouldn't even be on its way yet."
Paul, Absolutely like this style of presentation. All your trip reports are a pleasure to watch, but the voice over in this one made it more enjoyable. Looking forward to watching the rest of your round the world trip reports. Happy flying!
The voice over is excellent. You phrase and enunciate clearly enough to be easily understood on an iPad’s speakers. Zurich is on of my favourite airports and I’m quite a fan of the long haul Senator and first class lounges. It’s just a pity Swis long haul flights cost significantly more than they pay did two years plus ago.
Voice over really worked well Paul and stating the ticket cost is a great idea as it let's us see the difference between economy and business, looking forward to the rest of your world tour.

I flew the KLM Cityhopper ERJ-190STD (PH-EZY) once and it still is the best short flight I ever had, so I agree with you that it's an amazing aircraft! Well done for pushing your own boundaries. I flew Cathay Bus Class in December and felt it was probably the best Business Class I had ever flown in terms of layout, service etc so I am really looking forward to your Cathay First Class experience across the Pacific to see how the best get even better!

That was an enjoyable video - especially with the 'big plus' gag! Do you ever find the occasional piece of airline branded cutlery accidentally falls into your hand luggage? I hate it when that happens.

07:58 Hi Paul, I'm not sure what the other stuff is exactly on that meal, but I know that the main item in the central is (arguably) the Swiss national dish of Rosti, which is basically roasted and fried potatoes put into a kind of omelette. It's often served with a fried egg.

I flew with BA from Glasgow > London City last year in an Embraer (possibly 190). I was stunned at how comfortable the seat was (I'm 6'1" and not skinny). I wish more airlines here in Australia flew them.

I got an E195 on a flight from Gatwick to Lisbon and that was alright in fact the tap economy class on the Embraer is basically what you got on this Helvetic business class flight
I watch a lot of travel videos and I truly think you’re the most entertaining! I always feel like you educate me about the airlines, and or the flights without being too overly critical as well. I think the new format is great too, keep up the good work, and I hope you have a great rest of your journey ;) come back to OREGON
I loved the new format, Paul! Very smooth, pleasant, professional and well edited. I also loved the combination of voiceover and subtitles. I'm not a native English speaker and although I'm obviously fluent in it, I don't listen to English on an everyday basis and sometimes I may be a bit slow to understand English speech and miss a few bits. Having some mild age-related hearing loss doesn't help either, of course. My only very minor remark is that you should get one of those puffy microphones, as the P's and B's in your voiceover were a bit explosive sometimes. Congratulations anyway, and I can't wait for the other videos of your round-the-world trip! :-)

I had no problems with your old style of presenting your videos, but the new voiceover approach makes them even better.

I think the new format of your videos is simply brilliant, excellent job on the voice over narration and I like the new theme music as well.

I got an E195 on a flight from Gatwick to Lisbon and that was alright in fact the tap economy class on the Embraer is basically what you got on this Helvetic business class flight
I watch a lot of travel videos and I truly think you’re the most entertaining! I always feel like you educate me about the airlines, and or the flights without being too overly critical as well. I think the new format is great too, keep up the good work, and I hope you have a great rest of your journey ;) come back to OREGON
I flew on a newer Embraer this weekend. I was right over the engine and was amazed at how quiet it was.

I loved the new format, Paul! Very smooth, pleasant, professional and well edited. I also loved the combination of voiceover and subtitles. I'm not a native English speaker and although I'm obviously fluent in it, I don't listen to English on an everyday basis and sometimes I may be a bit slow to understand English speech and miss a few bits. Having some mild age-related hearing loss doesn't help either, of course. My only very minor remark is that you should get one of those puffy microphones, as the P's and B's in your voiceover were a bit explosive sometimes. Congratulations anyway, and I can't wait for the other videos of your round-the-world trip! :-)
