Moving Load: p5 - Crane load for Gantry Girder Design || EOT Crane, Vertical Wheel Load

In this video, I will discuss how we can apply a crane load on a gantry girder using vehicle definition and moving load generator. If there is any warning related to the moving load, how to interpret that message and accordingly fix the problem, that will be covered in detail.
For any bridge or crane girder, load is applied on the structure from a moving vehicle and as location of the vehicle change over time, we need to find out the critical load position which provide maximum result. Though this seems like a complex process, STAAD is well capable of handling this type of load for analysis and there is a moving load feature available to generate all possible load condition.

Staad is unable to add an opening enclosed by beams in parametric plate generation. Please sugest how to add an opening enclosed by beams?

If you use parametric model, you can add an opening at any portion and the mesh is adjusted based on the opening. In older version of STAAD, there were few problems with Parametric model option, you can try with the latest one where those problems are fixed.

Sir Auto load wind generator is not working in my system

Wind load generator should work properly unless there is some modelling issue or the inputs are not correct. Also in older version of STAAD, it was not possible to use this with SET Z UP command.
