The thing with Venom's ult is that its damage is 40+50% of the target's current HP, with 100% of that damage being converted to shield. With Frenzied Arrival dealing 65 damage and the first tick of Cellular Corrosion dealing 5 damage, the average healer is going to be at 180 HP when you ult, making the ult deal 130 damage to them, followed by the other 75 from Corrosion finishing. It's a strong way to ensure healers die. But to note that Feast both deals % HP and gives shields for the full amount. I've had it be really strong as a follow-up to an enemy heal ult. It'll chunk the enemy team, give you a massive chunk of bonus health
Finally, first guide ive seen mention weaving melee attacks with venom. Such a solid strat I think the melee goes through the strange shields too but i not 100% positive it does
@@Ahmed-xv4lb yes i know i tried it it’s crazy hard i’ll give yah that but if you want your aim to get even better it’s a must to have a Scuf Controller, DualSense Edge Controller or the VICTRIX CONTROLLER so when you jump you can still properly aim with Venom unless you already got one! But do the aiming drill and start using Melee in between your shots and trust me you will get better!💪🏼😁
Just remap your jump button to a bumper and tbh if you have bad aim on controller your aim still won’t be better with m&kb as a lot of people think because then your stuck without aim assit
Try to get better using the claw grip technique if you don’t have a scuf controller or any other controller with extra customizable buttons. That’s how I’ve been playing and so far I’ve been practicing Spider-Man and doing pretty good with him, and trust, you’ll get the gist of it soon don’t worry 👍🏻

Funny enough I actually was messing around in the practice range and fine tuning my setting for venom and yeah weaving your melee in between your primary fire helps out a TON and having paddles also helps out a bunch too

Honestly I hope they change venoms grapple to be more like wrecking balls from OW, it really feels like it just takes you wherever it feels like instead of giving you FULL control of your movement. I’ve got maybe 500 hours of wrecking ball so I love his grapple so much in comparison
This!!! I wish they incorporated a movement type swing such as if you hold down or forward you swing forward. If you hold left or right you swing that way. It’s weird that it swings you whichever direction, especially when ur tryna swing into a hallway
Nice vid! On controller would you suggest higher sense on the Up and Down (vertical)? I have it kinda of high so I can web swing quick but I feel it’s affecting my aim. I’m currently at 130

I always see Venom's primary fire as iffy for some reason! I land the initial hits but maybe 2 don't land?? Is this a distance issue or is it more just actually losing tracking of the target?
@@Rasendori06 losing tracking can be the reason why you’re missing half the tentacles to connect but most of the times it’s cuz you’re close to the enemy so some tentacles could miss try it in training on a healer you will see!😅

Button mapping wise I tested everything and I personally like having Swing on LT, Shield on RB, Slam on LB, Jump on A, Then the tentacle thingy on X or B. I really would like to have jump on a bumper but I feel having slam and shields are more important on bumpers personally. If you did want to put jump on a bumper I would probably switch it with shield

see alot of people say turn off easy swing but i found its better to have it on console aiming takes to much time and you can't stay in fights as long on pc it's probably easier bc flicking sens etc
that's actually a very good point I did try easy swing off on controller and it wasn't bad but yeah you would have to change to a faster sense to look up right away so yes it would benefit controller players!!!👍😁

Incorporating melee attacks in the normal attacks really helps with securing kills, great tips!!
