🥰 Hi Guys, We are Dream Travel Spot. 🚗 Today we are going to see and worship Ruwanweli Mahaseya, worshiped by the Buddhists of the world. 🌷
🙏🏻 Ruwanweli Maha Seya, also known as Maha Tupaya, Maha Seya, Ratnamali Seradun, and Svarnamali Maha Chaitya. It is the only pagoda built in the world that houses the largest number of relics of Lord Buddha.🙏🏻
🌺 Let's talk more as we worship Ruwanweli Maha Seya. 🌺 🌼 There are 4 main gates here. We entered through the Eastern gate. 🌼
🌷 The construction of this pagoda was started by the advice of King Dutugemunu, who reigned from 161-137 AD, and King Saddhatisssa completed the construction of this pagoda. Also, several reforms have taken place in the long term. 🌷 🐘 The elephant wall was created by King Saddhatissa. 🐘
🙏🏻 Swarnamali Chaitanya is 338 feet high and 942 feet in diameter. It is designed in the shape of a water bubble. 🙏🏻
🌹 Here you can see King Dutugemunu, Viharamahadevi, and also the statues of King Bhathikabhaya who prepared chaithaya maluwa. 🌹
🌻 There are various miracles in the land of Ruwanweli. 🌻🌹 Every day, thousands of people come to worship this holy land. 🌹
🌼 Here you can see a Chaitya Chudamanikya. 🌼
🪻 When you walk to Ruwanweli Maha Seya, you will visit several special places. 🪻
🪷 We are now in the Alms hall of the Mahavihara. Ruwanweli Maha Saya is a stupa belonging to Maha Vihara. 🪷 🌼 The Maha Vihara Alms Hall is the alms hall of the monks of the Maha Vihara. Here you can see many other creations including the rice container that was used at that time. 🌼
🙏🏻 Jetavanarama Dagaba can be seen in the distance. 🙏🏻
🌺 Now we are at the place where meeting hall of Maha Vihara if not the place of Ransimalaka building. 🌺
🌻 Lowamahapaya, this is another great work done by King Dutugemunu. It was used as an uposatha hall for the monks and later as an Accommodation, meeting hall, and idol house. 🌻 🌼 There were 9 floors in this building. Around 1600 stone pillars can be seen. 🌼 This is a Prasada-type building and it has been destroyed by a sudden fire. 🩷 Later, King Saddhatissa converted it into a building with 7 floors. 🩷
🌝 So, guys, we invite you to come and worship this holy place. 🙏🏻
