No once it’s ready just open your silo scoop off what you need and close/seal it off ASAP to minimize exposure to the atmosphere and then feed your goats
No that total mixture of (1ltr MolaPlusLivestock Microbes+2ltrs molasses+20ltrs of water) this is sufficient for 5 of such drums since it can be used to make 1000Kgs of silage the drum used in this video stores about 200kgs of silage
Thank for your question ; averagely this drum should be consumed in under 7days once opened however we recommend closing it as soon as you finish scooping off what you need to feed to minimise exposure to oxygen.
Thank You for your question for pigs specifically we use MolaPlus Pig Microbes and we recommend ensiling pastures whose CP is high most preferrably things like sweetpotatovines, russiancomfrey and the like for details WhatsApp/call +256758712786 for further discussion on the matter also you can checkout our video on how to make sweetpotatovines silage for pigs using Molaplus pig microbes
In less than a week however we recommend that whenever you open to feed you don’t leave the drum exposed so much to the atmosphere we recommend you open for less than 10mins scoop off what your going to feed for the day and then cover immediately .this minimal exposure to atmospheric oxygen enables you to keep the silage in the drum for a longer period
If you use plastic drum like the one showed in the video and place in a cool dry place the silage can be there as long as it remains in an airtight container
No it will not as long as you close the drum as soon as you scoop off what you need to feed that day and close it off immediately after to minimize exposure to oxygen
Thanks for the innovation, what microbes are basically in your product. The potatoe leaves have varying levels of color detoriation which is not good. While wilting potatoe levels, the objective should be to obtain a homogeneous wilting. Lastly, the quality of silage is dependent on many factors not only microbes, so the video should have erabolate the quality control and the target values of silage. Thanks 🙏
@Silver Molaplus livestock microbes is a suspension specifically formulated for ruminants containing beneficial organic acids, lacticbacteria, beneficial yeast, phototrophic bacteria, enzymes, beneficial fungus and Protozoa and once this is added to feeds enhances feed utilization, increase protein synthesis and improves microbial activity and increase feed palatability. 2.Issue of varying coloration of potatoevines yes this is true because for this case these were obtained from the garden after harvesting sweetpotatoes so this variety used for this demonstration was not specifically cultivated for pasture However if afarmer grows vines specifically for pasture production it’s easy to get leaves of more less same maturation and so once chopped and wilted you can have similar coloration but as mentioned earlier for this particular case we wanted to show what exactly happens when a farmer picks sweetpotatovines directly from the garden after harvesting their vines and also don’t forget we mixed vines and Napier for this video. So we could not get homogenous wilting since we where dealing with a legume and a grass. 3. True quality of silage is dependent on many factors however the purpose of this video was to focus on the main ingredient which is the silage innoculant (molaplus livestock microbes) that not only controls microbial stability inside the silo but also directs the direction of fermentation all geared to ensuring that the farmer gets the best quality silage in a record 3days. Thank You
@@shambasolutions Thanks for the feedback, I look forward to seeing better video that decipts quality of the feed ingredients to avoid contamination of feeds especially with clostridium and mycotoxins that negatively impend production and thier subsequent effect on human health. From one litter molaplus microbes, how many quantity silage can make?
1000kgs as long as you are using a knapsacksprayer to spray the microbes on the chopped fodder
Very educative

very nice Bangladesh

What is the ratio, ie how many kgs of silage or drums for every 20 litres of the molaplus mixture ?
Every 20ltrs of molaplus livestock microbes can be used to make about 20,000kgs of silage
Where do you store for ten years?
If you use plastic drum like the one showed in the video and place in a cool dry place the silage can be there as long as it remains in an airtight container
If I can't use the drum silage in the same day, will the remaining half go bad?
No it will not as long as you close the drum as soon as you scoop off what you need to feed that day and close it off immediately after to minimize exposure to oxygen
Where can i get the drums
Depends on your location but check around some of those big hardware shops or near industrial parks
You can dig soy put plastic for many tons.
