- Hay and post-harvest crop residues like straws and maize stovers, in particular, should be stored as silage to give microbes enough time to degrade them for use by cows.
MolaPlus Livestock Microbes is a sure bet when you want to make dry maize stovers palatable. With the 5-liter, 10-liter, and 20-liter containers, you are guaranteed great results.
In this video, our Founder, Mr. Henry Ambwere gives a detailed explanation to farmers in Zambia on how to use MolaPlus Livestock Microbes for silage preparation.

I have watched this video more than 10 times and always find it more interesting.
One thing I failed to understand is that how can 22 liters mix a tone of feed.
Please give more explanation on it.
10:33 what is meal number 3?
Do you export molaplus to Mali 🇲🇱?
Thank you ❤
Thank you for the compliments. Yes, 22 litres, when sprinkled or sprayed into a tonne, is more than enough. Those are trillions of probiotics - a single drop contains the probiotics in billions. Once thus sprayed, they start doubling every 1 and 1/2 hour. They completely colonise the feeds in a matter of hours and degrade them for nutrient extraction. *Meal number 3 is the Zambian version of Maize Germ - an extra from corn flour processing*. You can use Maize Germ, wheat Bran or any other cereal byproduct
@@Molaplus_Group thank you for quick reply

Kindly elaborate; whats mill nuber three?
We can't quite understand what you're saying. Could you please highlight that place in the video so that we can explain?
Meal 3 is maize/wheat bran.
@samnduta1878 meal number 3 is the Zambian version of maize germ, an extra from corn flour processing. You can use maize germ, wheat bran or any other cereal by product
No. 3 Meal is a product of our maize flourmill and is the coarse portion that is separated on sieving of the crushed maize grain, to yield fine flour. No. 3 meal (premium to maize bran) and is composed largely of seed coat and maize flour.
@godachservices3456 nice. Thank you for clarifying
