Hihi, online bootcamps (mine: Designlab’s UX Academy) can be pretty isolating & while I do enjoy my independent studies... I wish I could work with other designers. I'm becoming the type of person where if I have an idea, then I go for it! So here's my collaborative journey for my Capstone 2 UX case study: creating a new feature on the Crunchyroll app. I ended up teaming with two other great ladies 🥺 & enjoy working with them on this passion project! ❤️
💥If you’re in a similar remote bootcamp & want to gain collaborative experience then...I’d say go for it!
💥Find your own team thru your bootcamp network or just reach out on a social platform if you have other designers following you 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thanks Josh!!! I’ve been having more fun with connecting on IG by using hashtags #ux #uxtips #uxdesigner & repost UX related tips and insights I like on my stories (& tagging the accounts)! There are a lot of designers from known companies who have started to share their wisdom last year. 🤩 I bookmarked a lot of them and categorized them different folders.

But tbh haven’t actively participated in that community cause I’ve been busy with work and the UX bootcamp. Hahaha 😅

And another resource I just discovered but more for AR/VR is catchar.io/. Was recommended this at an event this past weekend! Looks pretty nice. 👍🏻
But disclaimer: haven’t started any AR/VR work yet. Focusing on finishing UX projects first and take it step by step with high level goals on it in mind 😅

I'm so glad I found your channel! I'm in a UI online bootcamp (CareerFoundry) and I'm almost done with mine and I finally reached out to get a study buddy lol! I feel more lonely in the sense that I can only really talk about UI/UX stuff to other folks in the industry. My friends and family are supportive, but they don't really get it. I think it's awesome that you are collaborating with some fellow UX'ers! :D
