- The new unique upgrade for Elbing is fantastic. I don't really understand it though, as it's a direct upgrade, something WG claimed was a problem when they nerfed previous leg-mods, but what do we know.

I remember them nerfing countless Legendary modules because they were "supposed to be sidegrades", like Henri IV, Moskva, etc, but apparently this direct upgrade is just fine? Very confused.

The pick of the game is the enemy cv smoking himself. A True support role

That piece of shit can deploy smoke the second the tactical squadron spawns on deck so instant smoke up.
Oh and both tactical squadrons have individual smoke cooldowns. Of course. So it can do it twice in a row.
Not surprising. You'd have to be an asshole to be a CV main in the first place

Correction can't have something in the game that is fun that doesn't require a CV or Sub. Gotta say Essex double Sheleffen is fun as hell. (I don't mind flying in circles just spotting.)
Why dont all pens on a sub cause flooding? Is there some WW2 force field technologies we have since lost? A great big shell has just smashed a hole in the sub, but no water can get in? The shell didn't stop, open the hatch and then fly dont the entry way. Is it just very polite water, it wont go into the sub because it hasnt been invited yet?
WG probably can't code flooding coming from anything but a torpedo.
@bigpoppa1234 AP used to cause flooding with underwater pens in the bad old days when you could get flooded in 4 places. My Iowa getting triple flooding from a Yamato at 25km was top tier. This was open beta btw

I owned Essex before the carrier rework, they should have given it back to me since they took it away.
They nerf Zao legend mod for some reason and then release these new shiny legend mode that is just straight up better than normal mod. Both Elbing and Gouden leeuw seems super strong.

considering garbage he DPM and how powerful ap this ship is, then yes the he deserved being underestimated

I love to look back at this game every now and then to remember WG is such a good game dev they give the battles an extra 2-5 minutes at the end so the kids with disabilities can have even more fun

Flamu, I posted on Reddit that this was a pure upgrade and about 80% of responders to my comment disagreed. That's the state of this playerbase and WG balancing.
I remember when EVERYONE was saying this ship was trash. I had a 62% WR on OG Elbonk. Now its just even better.

elbing is one of those ships that I just can't seem to make work for me. I have great average damage. I think I'm averaging 105k/battle, but I have a 41% win rate in.
well the Elbings playstile doesn't contribute as much to the team as regular DDs like spotting enemies etc so your team is having a harder time. That's probably why you have lower winrate
@@husqvatcho a single dd shouldn't be the difference between winning and losing. I have an average win rate just below 52%, why is my elbing so much lower then.

Dude what is the legmod. This is so broken, the only downside is that you loose 6% reload but who cares when you get a 20% speed boost and that absurd turret traverse.
No it reduces reload speed by 6%. Reading is hard I know
@@jphillip Context, they're comparing it to taking Reload Mod (as Flamu did in the replay), hence the 'loss of 6% reload', since assessing a legmod's benefits in a vacuum is kinda pointless.

Yes. Things that fly in this stupid game do way more damage than ships so we just become helicopter.
Why? With a 180-traverse time of 9s which isn't debuffed by Reload Mod, it's a waste of a point. On Reload Mod Elbing, sure (along with Traverse Mod in slot 3), but legmod Elbing doesn't need it (well, either) at all. I'm inclined to put torp mod 1 in slot 3 since Elbing's dispersion is already insane.

+100% turret travers, -6% reload, +20% engine boost speed and no downside in general.

Just goes to show you how broken gun based DDS are they have no cit, they are more accurate than cruisers with the same guns, better torps, tons of HP, some have heals, and detect is way better.

If only those modules didn't cost as much as half a t10 ship in research points. I just can't bring myself to spend those especially since WG now uses this new n shittier way of selling rare premiums ( like that Kita sale).
Interestingly the Lubeck test ship takes Elbing and cuts its turret turn time in half, exactly the same as what the legendary mod for Elbing does. Lubeck also has a slightly faster reload, so it basically sounds like they made Elbing into Lubeck using legendary.
That's how WG tests leg mods. Instead of adding a mod to test servers they add a copy of a ship without slot 5 or 6 and intergrate all the leg mod bonuses into the copy itself

The battle pass in this patch is the worst they ever make and also its expensive without something valuable in return.WG as it seems aiming again in the foolish part of playerbase to buy it....Wake up people.....
