+MOM Samus sm4sh is barely a year old, so the meta has barely evolved. Roll-spamming is punishable, so I'd expect to see more people learning how to punish it in the upcoming years as the meta evolves.
stalfos slayer MVD and Anti rolls spam like crazy, tbh, ZeRo used to do it a ton, but now look at him. I just hate to see 3x roll spam into grab work. I'm waiting for the day it no longer works cuz honestly, it's extremely nooby and takes no skill. It's very punishable, so I know there's ways around it.

I think I might have perfected the Mario Kill Combo, but if anyone has any advice to fix it, be my guest. The Combo is: Grab, Down Throw into double Up Tilt (grounded uppercut), Light Up Smash into double Up Air (back flip kick), finishing with the Dunk. The Combo starts off at about 45-50%. Any questions?

Nice to see Mr. R picking up some new characters. Considering how Evo went for him, i wouldn't be surprised if he is picking up Ryu just to counter Zero, since Zero's Diddy beat's out Mr. R's Sheik.
At 2:452:44 ish Ally could of had it if he had landed that Down A Air. That is one of my favorite mario moves and the reason i main him. (Assuming he's similar to the Project M mario, I don't currently have a Wii U)

I love this. Maybe I'm getting too hype, but it seems to me Smash 4 is getting to a point beyond definitive best and into the interesting territory of character picks and counter-picks. If that's the case, we're looking at major character diversity in the metagame for a long time coming.

Looking back at it, Mr. R's Ryu was definitely not that good lol. I don't think he did a single n-air, his best combo starter, a single down tilt (light or heavy) into tastu or shakunetsu, and he did down air into tastu at one point like... He could've just down air up tilt shoryu and it definitely would have killed, or down air up tilt jump shoryu if it pops up too high.. Also he got a focus attack level 1 and did an up air which didnt kill, could have easily done it with an input shoryu double jump
I hope he sticks with Ryu. Nobody wants him to keep using Sheik. His Marth was so cool in Brawl. Sheik.. I can't name any cool Sheik players (or at least that play Sheik cool)
I have phases where I prefer to watch Melee and Smash 4. Melee is so intense, but sometimes I feel like those people only win from intense mechanical skill. In Smash 4, I can really see how fast they think and adjust and I can see how much I'd fall short lol. Gimps are much harder to pull off, too. Diggin' the variety :)
