Yes but the thing is your using a 6600 when the average user would be using a RX 6600 XT/RX 7600 and also you would have to go in the AMD application if there might be some issues to be able to try and fix it just like with Nvidia we would use the Nvidia control panel to tweak some settings per game to get running as smooth as possible without much or no stutters.
Sorry RX 6600 is still Amazon's best selling AMD GPU. I guess the point of this video is for someone who uses cards out of the box, which is majority of gamers. Most users wouldn't tweak any settings outside of the game. This video is trying to raise awareness so AMD actually fixes this problem rather than rely on the end-user to fix that. 👍

Just made the switch from NVidia to AMD. The first two 7900xtx cards I got had a really bad stuttering issue, the first one AsRock PG OC would dev error / driver timeout every game, the second one (Sapphire Nitro+ Vapor) I could resolve the stuttering by underclocking the GPU by 1 or 2 %. Took it back and got a PowerColor Red Devil 7900xtx and haven't had any issues since.
That is really an unfortunate experience bro. It's little things like that, which would turn off a lot of people from their brand. Hopefully, that wouldn't give you any more issues bro.
Limitations of the testing is that it doesn't include higher end AMD cards as I don't have one. And there's always a bottleneck in any system. As mentioned, in the video... it would be GPU in this scenario. This issue isn't very obvious when you're just looking at the FPS counter, this is more clearer with frametime chart. I'm trying to bring awareness so AMD can actually fix the issue. This is inconsistent with their performance late last year.
Yeah, it's pretty disappointing that AMD doesn't have a dedicated QA team looking at live-service competitive games, wherein there's a huge market of gamers. They seem to be only relying on bug reports rather than testing it themselves first prior to release.
They do, on our main channel when we had significant issues with FN back then.. we had people send bug reports, and was later on mentioned in their patch notes as an issue before it was addressed 2 drivers later. But yeah, pretty reactive than proactive.
@@MCMIXING I tried from disabling amd ftpm, to changing cpu worker count and nothing, I resetted my pc and installed warzone again and used the recommended settings for performance and the stuttering went away. Although if it starts again I read on Reddit that deactivating the smart access memory on AMD software will get rid of the stuttering.
Guys, be sure to submit bug reports so that AMD will look into this. They're a bit reactive than proactive on Warzone changes unfortunately. We need more people submitting bug reports so we can press AMD to fix issues. I will revisit this GPU soon. 👍
I'll try that, see how it goes. But bad thing is if SAM downplays one particular game, it doesnt mean it does the same for every other. That's the bad part, because I'll have to manually shut it off when playing cod and turn it on back after I finish the session.

I wish I could give you an answer bro.. seems like we have to push AMD if they actually want to fix this. Unfortunately AMD is reactive than proactive from my experience. Damn one dudes video convinced you? I came from nvidia and I’m gonna stick with AMD, I’ve had zero issues with cards and the CPU’s are better for gaming as well.
Sorry for the essay in advance. I was already convinced. I have had AMD setup for 4 years now but have had persistant issues with low frame drops while playing at 2k the system itself at the spec i have should not have these issues. Also had quite a few issues after updates which introduce frame drop bugs. I don't just play warzone and the issue is prevelent in most titles. So when looking for a new setup i kept an open mind when pricing the new unit up this included looking at intel and amd. The main thing that stood out was intel is almost as cheap as buying and amd setup now but with more performance and more stability so buying an intel and nvidia setup was the way to go but obviously the nvidia 4090 was the expensive part of the build on a single item for the build. But i am very sure moving to intel and nvidia setup is the route to take instead of all amd gear running the rig. I am going to be keeping my existing amd rig for my daily driver and the intel for pure gaming. @@Drunkgamer904

I have a 6900xt Red devil ultimate edition GPU. It has higher clock speeds than the 7900xt. And I have a 5900 x cpu. On call of duty only I get 200 frames on warzone by my game stuttering like crazy. I thought I was going crazy I have a high-end PC I got 32 GB high speed ram. I thought I was going crazy. And I've been having these issues since modern warfare 2. I've tried everything to fix it and nothing works but this actually makes sense this is AMD cards are not optimized for call of duty.
It's currently a rollercoaster ride with Warzone. However, I would suggest you swap out your CPU to something like this ($229) - amzn.to/4bzkesx
It's your CPU that is holding you back. The CCX setup of the 5900X is causing most of your issues.
Thank you very much, you solved my problem with my 6700 xt.

Red devil - the best cards from the reds, this is true.

7900xtx no problems here. Have had direct x issues. You should make sure you aren’t bottlenecking, I can’t see your utilizations.
@@OverseerPC-Hardware I was looking at the frame time charts I was looking for your utilizations as mentioned, but yeah cool hopefully they fix it.
Yeah, it's pretty disappointing that AMD doesn't have a dedicated QA team looking at live-service competitive games, wherein there's a huge market of gamers. They seem to be only relying on bug reports rather than testing it themselves first prior to release.
@@OverseerPC-Hardware yeah I don’t think they do shit with those bug reports either. It probably goes in some junk folder.

I wish I could give you an answer bro.. seems like we have to push AMD if they actually want to fix this. Unfortunately AMD is reactive than proactive from my experience.
The more this is talked about, the more likely they will do something about this.. it also doesn't help that some AMD fanboys are in denial with this issue. Like I get called an Nvidia fanboy a lot because I'm bringing up this issue, which is supposed to bring awareness so AMD actually fixes it. 😑
