Today we went out for...Halibut with Bonus Striper Bass should they wander int our fishing grounds. It was a very and I mean very extremely windy day, small boaters are crazy to be out but my boat has pretty decent protection from the elements. It was a very cold wind chill and the wind itself was relently with what felt like Gusts all day instead of windy with Gusts.
We landed keepers early in the morning until we started tangling lines on the troll, mostly because of current conditions were difficult to undertand with current, tides, heavy winds, it was an extremely tough battle with direction.
While we worked hard to stay the course, when we did we caught a family of Halibuts doubling up on multiple occasion, but we really wanted to find the larger pockets of keepers but strangley they were mixed in there pretty good with a ton of shakers.
We found that on a super windy day, it was very affective to remove the Dodgers and go straight 6 feet of line with a hoochie so boat control and speeds factors are easier to deal with when as many lines were out on the deck.
We ended up with 4 Nice keeper Halibut, 1 nice Striper Halibut and so many shakers and mixed in with losing 4-5 large monter fish it made for a pretty eventful day on the water, there was hardly any rest between bites which kept everyone on their A Game at all times.
Didn't love the wind, but we pushed through and made the day work for what we had to work with and all of us had a blast together as we always do!
See you on the water everyone!

Thank you to all the new and latest subscribers and as always, welcome back to all my long time supportive subscribers! I appreciate each and every one of you for inspiring me to keep making these videos. I have been fishing for years but as of late I have been on an absolute tear making new content for all of you to enjoy when you can't be on the water. If you are at home, my videos are designed to enjoy on your TV as well as the shorts, im shooting to enjoy on your mobile devices. We had a pretty solid day despite the wind just absolutely relentless hitting us from every possible direction. We had to keep playing with boat directions and battle of currents and tides leaving us constantly changing tactics, direction and spots but we kept going regardless of the challenges we knew as soon as we left to the edge of the Marina Bay Yacht Harbor. We already knew it would be an impossible task to find spots but we had a fantastic day on the water with a bunch of good old friends who always make a tough fishing day just a little bit easier! See you all on the water and good luck out there, see you on the next video! Enjoy the content

I fished on the jetty on long beach California the Belmont pier and a canal cooling for the power plant on the Las Angeles Orange county line next to the river on the east side of PCH south of the river 75 yards. Got a couple of 28 in. Halibut and know of white Sea bass being caught plus spotted bay Bass, calico Bass, and a fish the called sargo like a big white bass and big fighters .

We might have limited, if losing fish was not in the equation :-) you can only fight, until the fish is in the box, it doesn't count!

Don't be late. Adjust your drag to the situation accordingly. Have fun and fish on.😅🫡

Captain's rules: Be on time, Be on point, be ready to catch, Be ready to net, tripple check your drags on the drop, adjust drags up or down to the fish your fighting, let the fish RUN, never give up or give up hope, stay positive and High Fives are not optional, they are Mandatory! :-)
