Thank you, that fix cooler is meant for wet bleeding but we get so caught up in catching we forget. The box was built to wet bleed, cut gills and toss in there run the pump but will most likely start using it as I designed and built that box for it, good eye, thanks for watching

Not sure yet, my buddy's are still eager to catch Halibut and Rock Fish, we were going to switch over to Bluefin but tackle is extremely pricy! So for now were covering all of the Bay Area and outside the Gates most achievable locations all up the Marin Coast, thanks for tuning in!

Got my first big tuna last year in Bragg, and 3 BFT in bodega .., BFT is expensive set up.,

yeah they were not the jumbos we had hoped for unfortunately, we lost a few on the bite those almost felt like better quality but the only ones that were hungry enough stay on were what we came home with :-) hope next time will be different

Yes you absoutely need the descending device onboard at all times to let down the cant keep species. if the weather is good I might consider doing a video on spot hopping along the marin coast but that would need to be a day we do not want to halibut fish, the only problem is when the weather is good cant help not halibut fishing while outside the golden gate, thanks for watching

Still I do not have a valid answer, I contacted CDFW and that is NOT against the CDFW regulations, what they told me was it's possible the Parks Unit at Point Bonita still have Seal Protections in place and require all fishing activity be 300ft Away from shore just to keep away from seals, I have yet to confirm this but it's all have at the moment, sounds reasonable but without talking to Point Bonita its educated guess with some googling data backinging it up

Great question, Not sure where you are from but in California's CDFW regulations,they site it this way so we use it as that, I actually prefer feet on my charts and mapping but we can't fish past 20 Fathom for now, I always have to convert it to feet anyway, I would rather say feet truthfully :-)

I have one but rarely use it, wouldn't hurt to figure out how to make it less bulky haha, I rely on my boat's VHF radio but going solo there are always things we could do to add extra safety measures, I like the idea if it's feasible, thanks for the suggestion

Welcome to the channel my new friend subscriber and follower! one day I will entertain subscribers, my buddies and I have been discussing this for months, but with all the boat fixes it's causing me to use extreme caution so once i feel really good about the boat, will circle back to consider bringing subs aboard for fun

@@hmglor I didn't stick around long, was getting knocked around alot and couldn't get proper boat control so I went in to Rock Fish, I choose to not fish the Bay because one rod is boring, aside from the Salmon and Halibut,there was tons of bait at the patch so, had I stuck around I would have limited but it wore me down I had to leave

I think I am going to get one, but I keep slacking on other priorities like making sure the boat floats, getting a Gaf now on my list of to-do's haha, thanks!

Yes it was actually , but I had to visit the patch this year and as soon as the weather is stable good early to mid fall, fishing should be fantastic cant wait, thanks

spot on my friend! yup it drove me nuts cause multimeter read 13.6 at the house, 12.7 at the main, combined got 13.6 so tracing from distibution I read 8-9 volts and all the way to the helms distribution it was 8-9 volts, immediately knew batteries were good and start getting cables replaced, thanks for your feedback much appreciated the comment and the tips about stainless and copper, you are 100% ***High Five!!!

Its true, you had to work through sharks only to get smaller halibuts if your lucky but boy what a strange day and a tough outting.
