Alright. This is your friendly neighborhood NA Spiderman. Lets see if I can add any info to your already amazing portfolio you have presented here. 1: At 3:54, you enter a different camera mode. This view is a tactical view you can pull up by hitting Z at any time durring the match. It shows all enemy and friendly positions that are within your teams line of sights. 2: While in tactical view or by bringing up the score map, holding tab, you can hold the right mouse button and drag up, left, right, or down to create a ping. These pings are usfull for calling out things such as treb points, incoming zerg rushes, or even a stack of archers for one of your allies to mow down with their long bows or other units. 3: Know your strengths and weaknesses. Some players are better at micromanaging their troops while others prefer sending their commander into the heat of every battle. Work with your team to be able to play the best you can your way. 4: On defense, don't stand still. Every attacker gets a treb, and while you may think you've set up the ultimate defense, unless you have played enough to know if the spot your standing is safe, someone can easily destroy what you have built with one treb call. 5: Don't be afraid to drop arty to help out. Even some green weapons, ie ballista, grapeshot, culv, and cannon, can be helpful at opening a gap for a counter assault. But keep in mind, all weapons that have a splash radius can damage your own teams troops. So please take your time and line up your shot before pulling the trigger on your purple mortar you dropped to show the enemy how serious you are. 6: Have fun. The worst thing you can do is start taking the match too seriously. Not every play will go your way. Some matches you will be outclassed. All you can do is play your best game, and learn from the mistakes you make. 7: Find a house and get involved. Nothing is worse in a game like this then not having anyone to play with. You can form 5 man squads for every game mode. And as Zimster said, this is a team game. So take advantage. Find some guys that you enjoy playing with, and over time your group of 5 guys sticking together on the field will help make the plays you need to lead to victory. I hope that these tips help not only in siege, but in all points of the game. Nobody will ever play a game and be the best the first time they play. So get on out there, invite your friends, get involved, and as I said, HAVE FUN!!!! Happy hunting everyone.
you can send up your troops before heroes can move by pressing X/F123 getting you to your objective just a tiny bit faster. there is friendly fire with artillery. use the terrain as cover. bring melee units which can hold such as spear sergeants or imperial spear guard to secure a point. (both attack and defence) bring a unit that can break holdouts such as imperial pikes, halberdier sergeants or cav. use your hero (don't stay near archers when you are a melee class) don't be affraid to sally out with a group of players. this can take attackers by surprise. also watch out for them.
I was honestly surprised that you only have 330 subs given that the video is such a good quality hope you get the subs you deserve and keep up the good work man
My tips: Observe what Your allies do and try to coordinate the push with them, if the push is getting blocked and it is hard to break through try to flank, but not alone. Another thing is the team composition with introduction to Namkhan Archers many people bring them to attack the last point. Try to save the units that can push the last point if Your team mates bring archers bring mele(shields) or cav.
Great vid mate :) that helps a lot :) Seige tips: using spear sergeants use order 2 so they protect and run with you. They are utterly deverstating! Especially as a bow user :) even better using a massive poleaxe ;)

Taking and defending points counts towards participation, so does moving siege towers and rams.

Participation adds when you cap points or prevent capping, and yes unit damage taken also counts.
Also moving siege equipment counts towards participation, and what Azrael mentioned.

Well I am struggling now because I am going against people with really high tier stuff now.
Two units that you can get quickly are imperial pike guards and stalwarts. Get those and you will have a fighting chance
