The comment about the lack of communication is so weird and true at the same time. I come from moba like league of legends and everyone there use chat and pings to coordinate, in a game like CB coordination should be even more important but it's really rare to see team that actually have a strategy.
It's always been a big issue in this game, its very hard to get teams to work together. Its different though, 15 players on a team, set shorter match times, secondary incentives (like grinding XP and not spending bronze) for poor teamplay... Just gotta use what we've got haha
I blame third person camera. In League you can change where you see very easily. In CB it's hard to see through the jungle of troops. And the ping, its sound is unnoticeable in the middle of battle, it's also very small on the minimap. You have to press Tab to see where the ping is
Cool tips man! Learnt a lot of Longbow tips from ur old videos as well. As for Season 3, really excited for the Pavis Crossbowmen...I mean cross bows with shields? That's dope!!

Hey Poncho! Nice to see you back again man - awesome video as always! As an old player of the game, I often struggle to find ways to get myself back into the hype so I'm really glad everyone is back for season 3 along with new content to grind for. I gotta say its a lot more interesting than season 2. I believe all the units are very good - Condottieri Guards rival the Prefecture Guards, Fortebraccio Pikemen definitely will be used in Tw especially defending a fief or a gate specifically with their long pikes protected by shields in front, Pavise Crossbowmen - I'm a shield unit type of guy and this unit will definitely be the ones I will use the most. I love the Conditeri swordman and that Cav isn't steam rolling new players all the time. I hated that as I was levelling, however Rattan Rangers are even more horrendous now haha! Great video Ty.
Ty! I think the best is to know your counters so you wont be wasting units... anyway what I like the most about this season is the infinite food on your territory while in open world :D

What got me most excited is the Maul man, as a poleaxe user, I don´t mind the slow attack but love how you can deal a huge amount of damage in total disregard for your own safety, also it is super easy to break shield-walls.
Very nice vid as usual 😊 One little critique one the pinging: plz dont spamping/encourage ppl to do so... whoever doesnt listen to the first one or two pings wont listen to the 10th or 20th either but u might trigger all other players...and the more pings are used the more players will stop listening to them. But thanks for another short vid full of useful information, my fav. unit of S3 could be the Falconetti gunners as i think they might change some siege situations (and TWs) alot ✌️

I say to go ahead and spam ping for several reasons, firstly, because there is a very short cap on how many pings you can do anyways, so realistically it gets cut off quickly before it has the chance to really be annoying. But secondly, in the heat of combat, even I don't always notice a ping and that's while actively looking out for them, or if I hear it sometimes I can't glance at the minimap at that second to see where it is.. Double confirmation is always better than 0 confirmation, ya know? :P
Stop being a little bitch and tank some harmless pings when your teammates are in desperate need of help. It's trash like you that ignore pings and aim for your own glory.

I think there is some real potential for conqueror's blade to get pushed into the mainstream during s3 if the deva can play this right. While there are many gripes and issues I have with this game, when comes down to it I rlly love playing it and want to see it succeed. So here's to s3 success!

What has me most excited about season 3? The fact my house is ready for season 3 in ways we were not ready in the start of Season 2 or even Season 1. I'm pretty excited about this season. I have a feeling we will go fairly far.
I'm exited about the new units and the new class, i love the italian theme they have going on. I skipped season 2 because of how bad the battlepass was and took a lengthy break but now i'm actually pretty excited to play again
The most excited thing for me for season 3 is that pikemans units. İ am happy that finally there is at least one strong units that can withstand against the tier 5 cav :D
I am excited about the new weapon the maul it gives a lot of casual gameplay. Entertaining with friends. It would be necessary to see how it develops in territorial war and against the new units. Nice video!
11:43 what honor upgrades do u have on your imp muskets? I am most excited to get the pavise crossbowmen I just have extra 25000 honor lying around just to unlock them as soon as they come out
I'm probably more excited the changes the new units will have on how TW will go especially when defending forts and towns. When the pavise unit get released I'm pretty sure everyone is going to field those units for there stun ability and anti-cav as long as they don't get flanked and is supported by other units.
One thing is sure, cav won't be the deciding factor anymore. The meta has to change for each unit though because its a slow release, so we wont really know until everything is out for a while
I really hope they will implement the ranked (Wild hunt?) mode during s3 I read about it in the frontier patch notes and I think it'll be a lot of fun actually tryhard with your team as well as some friends, you'd also have an alternative to coordinated play than just TW.
I believe it is coming in Season 3. It'll be exciting to see how that opens up for sure :D If you thought people raged in pub matches though, just wait till people start landing bad teams in ranked lol
What I am most excited about in season 3 is to see how they nerf and buff certain units and weapon classes. With the addition of units and a new hero weapon there is bound to be some rebalancing. Cant wait to charge into battle knowing who to avoid. Season 2 was amazing but the poleaxes were nuts.
My prediction says it will be a turtle meta. Spear with pikes clusters. But it will all depend on the fact if the cannons will be good enough to counter that (range/precision) or if they are too easy to take out
Deciding between the shield crossbows and canon infantry - those could be nice for pushing shield walls (which are a pain in the a$$ to deal with for a new player like me). Curious thou - how the hell do i motivate my team to actually be usefull ? could really use a tip on that... A is empty, way is clear i cap it to like 99% but nobody can be bothered to help with that and we lose...
Lol motivating a team can be rough. Sometimes you just gotta take the first step and show them the way :P But really, if you want good team play, you just need to join a good active house

Yes, definitely. Until you've maxed out all of your skills, abilities, and have some good roles on good gear, you will do less damage. It takes a little while to grind out the best gear, all classes are underwhelming without the good stuff :P
Yes, they are really good! They have an incredibly strong charge, and do massive blunt damage, have huge HP and armor, their only downside is how slow they are and how few men are in the unit.
Shortbows are better for taking artillery than longbow. The Bola does 1700-1900 blunt dmg without any Str. That + couple of shots easy. As attacker I'll usually rack up 5-8 artillery kills just using my shortbow before the towers hit the walls.

Because we dont have auto-aim assist as an option, and because our weapon is not hit-scan. Landing shots with a longbow is 100x harder than using a musket

They've been steadily nerfed over time I doubt it well get any weaker than they are now, but yeah used right they do major damage especially in groups. One mistake and the unit is gone though, along with half of your leadership, so you have to play careful.
The #1 mistake I see on Attack is bottlenecking into 1 Breach. Either putting it all into the main gate, 1 Siege Tower, or the first part of the wall to fall down. Focusing all the trebs into 1 wall can create a pretty big breach, but attacking from all sides makes them split up the defenses. Also, you can succeed at (B), and (C), while they hold (A). Attacking 1 bottleneck just lets them surround, and pound the entire army, with no progress. I've held the Main Gate with our backs to (A) and they've never made it even that far, because they were stupid, and put all their eggs in 1 killzone. On defense, just focus all your archers on that AoE. Even if they turtle up, it's like 5 Archer units against 1 Shield unit. Pretty easy to see who's going to win that one.
Definitely its a shockingly common way for people to lose, the other big one is pushing in too early and losing free units because you dont have supporting teammates in place. These can both kind of be lumped inside the same thing on just simple map awareness, most people only think about the heroes or units they have in direct line of sight lol
@@IndigenousPonchoGames Yeah, or not checking on Ladders. On defense, it's usually the Ladders. It's really easy to guard the gates, and see the Siege towers coming. They don't tell you when the Ladders reach the walls, though.
This game requires a lot of meta-conformity, the meta frequently changes but keeping in mind which units are currently considered 'top-tier' will help a lot
7:10 Ironic that you say ''Knowing when to give away the numbers to buy time, can win you the game'' When you died needlessly over there. It was 15sec when they first started capping. It takes 20 seconds to 0-100% cap a flag. In both clips you show there, you clearly have no idea when to give away numbers & when not to. Because you're just tanking your stats, upping gear repair bill and lowering your overall score = less exp & bronze.
While technically correct, its tedious to go about getting the exact timing scenario for a clip when you need it for a video... this is just to make the point that dying for a point can be worth it and to encourage people to do so more often, weve all screamed at our monitor watching a hero not touch a point in the final seconds and losing over it.

2:15 - Shortbow is amazing at taking down siege at a distance since their Bola does ranged blunt damage.
Yup, killed 3 mortars last TW with bola. It's much longer range than ppl think
Agreed, mostly everybody can help out on that front, I often dont get the final hit with my damage numbers but I know I'm helping :P

All the maps seem to feel more dynamic now without the cav spam TBH
Am exited bout the cavalry nerf and love to play in this new season with some of the new infantry coming up

Shortbows are better for taking artillery than longbow.
The Bola does 1700-1900 blunt dmg without any Str.
That + couple of shots easy.
As attacker I'll usually rack up 5-8 artillery kills just using my shortbow before the towers hit the walls.
For sure they are, unless its very far away :P

Because we dont have auto-aim assist as an option, and because our weapon is not hit-scan. Landing shots with a longbow is 100x harder than using a musket

Still a noob but been playing since late January still learning Iron Reapers are OP and with my luck just as I unlock them they will get nerfed.
They've been steadily nerfed over time I doubt it well get any weaker than they are now, but yeah used right they do major damage especially in groups. One mistake and the unit is gone though, along with half of your leadership, so you have to play careful.
The #1 mistake I see on Attack is bottlenecking into 1 Breach. Either putting it all into the main gate, 1 Siege Tower, or the first part of the wall to fall down. Focusing all the trebs into 1 wall can create a pretty big breach, but attacking from all sides makes them split up the defenses. Also, you can succeed at (B), and (C), while they hold (A). Attacking 1 bottleneck just lets them surround, and pound the entire army, with no progress. I've held the Main Gate with our backs to (A) and they've never made it even that far, because they were stupid, and put all their eggs in 1 killzone. On defense, just focus all your archers on that AoE. Even if they turtle up, it's like 5 Archer units against 1 Shield unit. Pretty easy to see who's going to win that one.
Definitely its a shockingly common way for people to lose, the other big one is pushing in too early and losing free units because you dont have supporting teammates in place. These can both kind of be lumped inside the same thing on just simple map awareness, most people only think about the heroes or units they have in direct line of sight lol
@@IndigenousPonchoGames Yeah, or not checking on Ladders. On defense, it's usually the Ladders. It's really easy to guard the gates, and see the Siege towers coming. They don't tell you when the Ladders reach the walls, though.
i am a low lvl (lvl 100) and i come with people like lvl 200/180 and i am being rekt how do i fix this?
This game requires a lot of meta-conformity, the meta frequently changes but keeping in mind which units are currently considered 'top-tier' will help a lot
I rly like new seasonal store changes there is alot more stuff thst you can buy now and it just feels more ussefull

Yup, frames arent superb in this game even with a pretty decent rig, that and it just makes things stand out more and easier to shoot at :D

When you died needlessly over there.
It was 15sec when they first started capping.
It takes 20 seconds to 0-100% cap a flag.
In both clips you show there, you clearly have no idea when to give away numbers & when not to.
Because you're just tanking your stats, upping gear repair bill and lowering your overall score = less exp & bronze.
While technically correct, its tedious to go about getting the exact timing scenario for a clip when you need it for a video... this is just to make the point that dying for a point can be worth it and to encourage people to do so more often, weve all screamed at our monitor watching a hero not touch a point in the final seconds and losing over it.
My weakness is the hammer. It honestly sucks... but i love it xD
well dont forget everyone is still new with it, plenty of time to practice and become the hammer master :D

Love to play em hate to play against em lol. One thing to consider though is that less cav means more archers, and more archers means more fire, and more fire means less rattans :D
