Phenomenal property. As an artist myself, I appreciated your idea, Nick, of making it into an art school. Get people of all ages working with their hands again! As always, love your passion for beauty, history & potential.
Oh Nick with out you this would just be another property tour, rather dull and without any actual excitement. Please keep finding these beautiful houses, one day I will buy one of these wonderful homes. 🇮🇱
When my Italian grandparents built their homes in America, they stayed with the traditional Italian design themes. Separate rooms, murals, and three stories
Oh Nick what a fabulous tour. It was like going thru a museum. So many beautiful things to see. That terracotta fireplace was amazing and the paintings were just so well done. I pictured some poor guy laying on his back on a scaffold doing them. The furniture on its own was just gorgeous too. I bet if someone had a lot of money to sink into that place it would be well well worth it. Like you said a school or a boutique hotel would be perfect. Thanks so much, again for showing us these secret places in Italy. Hopefully one day a place will be ours. Xo
Yea! 100k subscribers! Nick congrats! Sorry it took me a bit longer to see this video. Things are so busy. Congrats!! I’m so excited for you. Love all your videos!❤
“Broadsword calling Danny Boy”… I drifted off into another time with your historical reference from WW2 and the house being occupied by the Germans. I half expected Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood to appear! You could easily picture that scenario taking place there. Outstanding property set on grounds that are just screaming to be returned to their past glory. I am exhausted after this video with all of the potential bombarding me from every room. I can picture someone on the kitchen stoop peeling potatoes for a dinner that I hope I would be invited to. Sipping Vin Santo in the salon, in the garden, everywhere! You definitely bring out the buried imagination in all of us with these videos. You are in so many ways a therapist to us all . And…… it’s 2 settembre and you are on the cusp of 100k subscribers. I told you so. I wish I was there to celebrate with you when you reach this goal. We all will be there in spirit. Best to you Nick and thank you for a whopper of a video, knockers and all.
I think so, this house could a place for a nice movie. I have seen one, the house, the yard was very similar. I just can't figure out which film it was. Probably 40 years old.
what a stunning, original looking home, the furnishings and other items were equally interesting and beautiful. I hope whomever buys it does not gut the home, but will keep the original flow and design.
Nick I saw the length of the video & knew you had big one to show. The fresco’s are what stood out to me, to restore I imagine cost a penny or two. I was off a bit on price today, def has potential with some deep pockets! Thanks for sharing, cheers Kirk
Outstanding tour once again Nick!! 🎉 100,000+ followers!! 🎉 Well deserved Nick! My wife Stephanie & I have been watching you with appreciation every Saturday since we “found” you in early 2020. You have opened our eyes to new places in Umbria and Tuscany for us to consider when we return to Italy. Thank you, and a hearty congratulations! Cheers!
Normally, I would have lots of words. 😁 But reading through many of your followers' comments, they have summed it up so nicely that I will just say I concur wholeheartedly! Fantastic tour, Nick!
Fabulous - truly outstanding! the frescos are magnificent, the spaces feel cinematic, surely it could work for location shooting! The blend of styles through the ages lend it self to multiple scenes / sets - The whole building feels like a collection of increadible timestamps - 07:21 - It's quirkily named a "treadle" as opposed to "pedal"
Absolutely amazing and beautiful beyond words. You of course are fully present and immersed in every detail. Why would you not be brimming with enthusiasm, and so appreciative of the era? No one else could produce these videos Nick. Karl Lagerfeld suits would be rather out of place -only shorts and tee shirts please! The bedroom furniture is breathtaking,, wonderful wood. I was born in the era of wardrobes which had glass fronted drawers, "tallboys" and brass fittings. I do hope fervently the purchaser would love it all and restore everything that is humanly possible (and keep the spider, it was there before them). Thank you so much Nick😊
Fantastic rummage! So much potential for someone with a serious fortune and great ideas! I loved seeing the wine cantina with everything intact, the floors and belle epoque frescoes, the beautiful garden gone a bit off-piste, and all the old original interiors and outbuildings. If I were that affluent, I'd however be a bit apprehensive to buy from a family with this (quite obvious) past loyalties. Especially as these tendencies are often very much alive and kicking in families with the history. Who and what's onnthe ultimate receiving end is important to me. It's of no consequence to the building itself though, as I see it. In fact if it was turned into a place for intellectual learning or the free arts it would be all the better! Anything in an opposing direction. This being said, in most Italian bourgeois houses you're aware of the likelihood of the political past it's represented through the 20th century. That's just the way it is in Italy. It's not France in this respect. I'm surprized this palazzo isnt listed! I wonder why? Too modern /late in a nation with such old buildings perhaps? It needs a decade of work at least, in multiple areas simultaneously. Under guidance of a good architect and proper contractor. To get everything from the outbuildings to the wells, house and landscaping in decent shape. But I'd love to see the transformation in five years! That's the only thing possibly missing from this channel, the return visit to some of these properties, once the new owners have put in some efforts to restore and modernize them! I'd LOVE that....I do realize many wouldn't be interested in opening for that, but as they did buy through you, I think some might be willing if you asked kindly at some point? It may sound like a terribly selfish wish, but it might benefit your endgame to show what transformations are possible within in a certain timeframe? I'm grateful for whatever you film honestly. This was a real treat! GRAZIE MILLE 🙏💕
oh wow ... i got the price! i watched this with absolute pleasure nick .... your chortles of sheer delight make this the most enjoyable property channel i have ever come across .... regardless of the property (of which i have yet to see one i don't like) i watch these now like i watch my favourite tv show. such a treat.
The house must been very beautiful in it's day. thanks for sharing Nick. Come hai detto, avrai bisogno di tasche davvero profonde per riportare indietro la vecchia
What an amazing property and fantastic commentary Nick once again. I couldn't help but think about a time when a busy family would have lived there moving through the house and enjoying life there, wonderful. Great video Nick. Thank you.
Wow Nick I love the way you present every property and your eye for detail. Could we have a tour of your own property which will explain your love for detail and art . Just to get a insight. Thanks
That was fun; your enthusiasm was contagious. This was a tour back in time. I would love to see this entire property restored. There are so many unique items that are worth saving, such as the terracotta fireplace; frescos; those fabulous, dark wood doors; and the vaulted, brick ceilings. Nick, thanks for sharing this property! I'm confident that when I check back next week you will have reached 100k subs.
Had to look up”vin santo”, now I have to get some! Intriguing that they store wine where it could get hotter, yet such a valuable variety. The property is amazing, lots of room inside and out to lead a very happy life. Actually, the price is less than I imagined. Seems a excellent Abel for someone wanting historical Italian home and lands! Thank you, Nick, for this detailed one take tour, you’re the master of them all 👑
Each one is better and better. I love the lighting fixtures and frescoes, and vaulting, and woodwork and history, and the garden-in-the-rough! Beautiful, again! Thank you, Nick!
This house is just so beautiful and needs a couple of museum conservators to assist the renovation effort. With the quality and quantity of fixtures it will be easy to have a sympathetic restoration. Nick, you do find some wonderful rummage situations and I for one am very thankful.
With some experience in brewing as well as some knowledge of medieval brewing. Keeping some barrels of wine in the attic makes sense . Heat , to boost the yeast. Like atoms, the hotter the atoms get the quicker the move. The warmer the yeast is! The quicker they work. Or that's where they cultivated the yeast batches. Ether or both make sense to me.
1.2m is a substantial amount of money, but considering the land and surrounding buildings attached to the property, I honestly say "the amount asked for is just right" True the house needs some tender caring work, though it will look magnifecent once finished
What a place Nick! Your finds are so interesting ... It always amazes me that some of these grand properties have been 'let go', such a shame then again people get older, the times change and just the availability of money ... great work as always Nick!
What a dream to have enough money to buy and restore and then live there with the ability tho have live in help and live live like kings and queens…my God this is absolutely gorgeous
Oh Nick.... so much... I don't know how families leave behind the influences of their ancestors... also.... I've read about German occupation in both France and Italy ... it devastates me. Thank you for this magical tour that reminds us of so much beauty created and lived before our time.
You could feel yourself back in time. Yes it needs work. Bring those $$ and make her shine again. Those ceilings to die for. Such craftsmanship. Thank you Nick.
I guessed 1.550. I guess I loved it lol. I shared your enthusiasm and excitement throughout! Thanks so much for such an amazing rummage...one day I'll get there. 😍😃
What an amazing property. It would be wonderful for a summer art or music school. Plenty of possible bedrooms, performance spaces. I would have loved to see the inside of the outbuildings. As for price - I nailed it exactly. Must be watching too many of your videos 🙂
I ❤ this house - have just recently found your channel and love your fabulous energy presenting these amazing properties. I would love to come and renovate an old farmhouse in Tuscany one day.
I love the history of these homes you showcase with such enthusiasm, I can feel the weight of memories written on the walls, I think of the families who lived and worked here…you make us dream about the past.
Four mile walk completed, blueberry muffins (with an accidental cup more than required milk added-tired eyes, long week) in oven, and really looking forward to this…. Especially since Nick looks like he’s either playing a fütball match or ready to start night walking a Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. WWII history is a nice touch as well!! Cheers! And looking forward to it!!!
Buon giorno my grandfather funded a new building after WW 2 for a Catholic school near Bari. Originally it was for families to stay during the war. My second cousin works in the same building my grandfather donated money to build. My cousin is named after my grandfather. The school is still there. Love the historical buildings!!
Well, a hidden traesure it really is! And so much history around in the building - stunning. Thnaks again for this (long) rummage. This time no Greetings from DE, but from Montelaterone (GR) ;) Joachim
Hi Nick❤ well I have watched this video over and over and every time I see something even better that I love I even love the spider webs by the way is that spider just renting a room or is he the caretaker I think fixing up the outer areas would be beneficial if only to make it safe for a few farm animals that I would love to have I think I honestly have to say that these old farm houses are my favorite videos of yours please keep them coming if you can find them thanks so much for sharing until next time ciao
well she's a beauty! and that spider is living the life in these fantastic surroundings lol but it's someone else's turn right? this place is grand! what a comeback this place could make :) everything is there waiting for some elbow grease and a few upgraded flourishes because floor to ceiling it is already classy . i was taken with the beautiful woodwork throughout, craftmanship seen in each space. the treasures scattered everywhere in there are a fun addition too. that italian country living feel about it could be truly delightful once again in this lovely find nick! your camera has captured her "soul" !
This was fun Nick, thanks for the tour. Loved all the little odds and ends. Little treasures everywhere! One can only imagine what it was like in it's prime...............
Haha, thanks for posting the square footage!! I was going to have to google the conversion!! 44:12 a small running water fountain cures that road noise 'problem' . love this property.
An extraordinary property with so much character, and providing such an amazing physical timeline of the family's history throughout. Wow, the potential for this building is almost limitless although my temptation as always, would be to make it my personal Italian palace and sanctuary. Thanks for another remarkable tour. By the way.... I would beg you in future to give a little more warning if you decide to film a spider the size of a Buick. From that moment on, I kept getting distracted in every room by any dark spots on walls or ceilings, and this is a home worthy of one's full attention.
This is a amazing property that I would love to have there is so much I would love to restore it and the beautiful gardens omg It would be Amazing Nick !! ❤❤❤❤👌👍😍
I would need many millions to fix it. Even if I only wanted to do some of the buildings. I'm sure they all are too run down to save. Every one of the doors that you shown with that exquisite wood would ALL HAVE TO BE SAVED!
The collection of historic buildings is amazing. Main house is simply beautiful. It’s all a huge project, but my god the potential. It’s rough enough that it can be turned into anything one would want. I love these old properties. ❤ Something about this specific one bothers me, tho. I’m sure it’s just me and not the property. 20 acres is a great find!
@@kayfish7621 Well I’m glad it’s not just me. 🙂 I love everything I see on this property, but you could not pay me to step foot on it and I don’t know why.
We’ve had a number of haunted houses. The last one we did is from 1857. In our experience, those that remain behind are usually appreciative of the restoration efforts, and I bet some love and elbow grease would make this a very livable property.
Ciao Nick, I love Palazzo del Soli, it does need work, but that's ok, I would look all over for tiles from that period (hopefully) can find some and redo the bathrooms. Also redo the kitchen back to the old-world charm, with modern functionality. It has great acreage, but not sure I would pay the asking price, so it a good it's negotiable. Another great find Nick, thanks for showing it. Amore da N.Y.
You looked like a superhero popping in at the beginning, lol. Loved it! By the way, I am watching you from Texas. I have always loved the Tuscan decor. Remodeling our home made me want to know more about Italian designs and that is how I found your channel. I may not always comment but I do always watch and give a thumbs up. I am also subscribed. I appreciate how you film each video and the homes we all get to join you in visiting. Thanks so much for the great job, the fun, your adorable laugh, and the knowledge you share on the design aspect of each home. Have a wonderful day! :)
You have made my day with your amazing comment. I so apologie for my late reply. I’m building our new house at the weekend, so I have so little time at the moment. I do appreciate your comment. Bless you. ❤️🙏😊 Nick.
Absolutely in awe of this timeless treasure, what a treat! Love the chandeliers and your attention to detail just blows me away every time, the history and the vastness of the land is a beauty! Thank you so much!
Wowza Wowza ! I feel the same excitement as you at all the amazing treasure in the house , many of the lamps and chandlers are so fab, and the entire contents of the cantina. Then the ceilings and doors , garden , bedrooms , parlors , WOWZA . Thank You , wish I could make an offer , that price is what a three bedroom house in Orange County California is going for .
Another great one!! I adore you talking to yourself, at yourself and answering...too funny. Also, that you groan over lovely objects. keep it up Nick. You need some merch of you talking to yourself "Can I?? Yes, Nick, you can" !! Where is the roasted pig for the center of that table on 1st floor!! lol What is the name of that fortified wine? Is it still made and will you die if you drink it?
Wow, those figs looked amazing! Wish I could've picked one too, lol. Oh my goodness, the spider was huge! Glad he didn't jump off on you! It was like going into a time capsule! Exquisite! The main salon is very stunning!! Awesome!
😍Love a good old rummage! Theres something exciting and satisfying about returning things to working order..What an interesting project. Id love to be young enough to tackle this. Treasures from front to back. Love it! Have a great week Nick. Thank You. 🥪☕️❤️🇦🇺🦘
Great tour Nick thought it was awesome that it was held by the Germany officer means there must have been some action around there so if i put in offer do i get the leather key hold that was in the door to got with it cus if not well offer of the table 🤔🤔🤔
Incredible!! A joy to watch. I know Italy is awash with historian buildings but I was amazed to hear you say it wasn’t listed!!! Who will protect those frescoes ceilings? Hopefully the new owner will be simpatico. The price you mentioned was well below my guesstimate & I was being conservative!! What a steal! The restoration costs will be prohibitive but what a privilege to own and transform the palazzo. I learned many new things and feasted my eyes on so many treasures. Thank you so much
This is such a LOVE project that would be amazing if it was all renovated… even if it never ever made financial sense. If I had the purchase price and then double the purchase price for renovations plus the purchase price again for unforeseen and future projects and maintenance, then I would see if it was possible with the outbuildings to come up with about 20 suites owned in maybe a co-op manner with rentals when not in use by owners and a caretaker cottage for the innkeeper on site plus a large collective studio space and a barn size gallery room that doubles as a banquet hall. I would maintain all of the frescos and as much as possible of the original features with wiring, plumbing and kitchens redone and roof maintenance completed and finally with a gardener hired to bring it back into its glory. This could be such an outstanding place with this much acreage! The good bones are there! I can see it completed in my mind’s eye. Thanks as always Nick! So much fun!
Terrill, I so enjoyed reading your comment and so apologise for my late reply. I really do hope someone buys this and makes something wonderful. Best wishes to you, Nick. ❤️🙏😊
The best I can do on this one, Nick, is if I was a multimillionaire, I would buy this tomorrow. Wagonloads of money for this, but I can see it. Always love the properties with neverending rooms. The entrance hall and staircase was gorgeous already. Thanks, Neil
‘Sympathetically restored’ -you’re speaking my language! That Catina is amazing.
Phenomenal property. As an artist myself, I appreciated your idea, Nick, of making it into an art school. Get people of all ages working with their hands again! As always, love your passion for beauty, history & potential.
You’re very kind Edith. ❤️ Thank you. 🙏 Nick.
Yes, I can see ceramic studios out back ; ) Would be fun as an art school.
‘Everywhere you look are trinkets of awesomeness’. I LOVE THIS!
Wow. If I hit the lottery, you are my 2nd call. First to wife of course to tell her we are moving to Italy. Excellent tour, Nick. Cheers🍷
Oh Nick with out you this would just be another property tour, rather dull and without any actual excitement. Please keep finding these beautiful houses, one day I will buy one of these wonderful homes. 🇮🇱
Those twin beds and the doors are absolutely STUNNING!!!!!!!
“Beauuutiful knockers! They are such gorgeous knockers…” Every man should say this at least once in his life
I just want to send you lots of love and gratitude. I dream through your videos. Maybe one day... :)
Love your joyful enthusiasm ! Thanks for sharing Nick . 🤗
Thank you. ❤️
Museum tour extravaganza. These are beautiful buildings, amazing they have survived. Wishes it will be revived. Thank you Nick.
When my Italian grandparents built their homes in America, they stayed with the traditional Italian design themes. Separate rooms, murals, and three stories
The CEILING and WALLS of the DINING ROOM! in fact the ENTIRE ROOM!!!!!

Nick, can you suggest a good wine merchant in Sansepolcro? One I could order through from here in the US.
I think so, this house could a place for a nice movie. I have seen one, the house, the yard was very similar. I just can't figure out which film it was. Probably 40 years old.

Wow! Incredible property!❤
Buon giorno my grandfather funded a new building after WW 2 for a Catholic school near Bari. Originally it was for families to stay during the war. My second cousin works in the same building my grandfather donated money to build. My cousin is named after my grandfather. The school is still there. Love the historical buildings!!
What a wonderful story. ❤️❤️❤️ 🙏 Best wishes, Nick.
Well, a hidden traesure it really is! And so much history around in the building - stunning. Thnaks again for this (long) rummage.
This time no Greetings from DE, but from Montelaterone (GR) ;)

Really enjoyed reading your comment. Thank you so much. ❤️❤️❤️ Nick.
Nick's Private Muesum ? He wants everything! Now I want buy it.
😊
An extraordinary property with so much character, and providing such an amazing physical timeline of the family's history throughout.
Wow, the potential for this building is almost limitless although my temptation as always, would be to make it my personal Italian palace and sanctuary.
Thanks for another remarkable tour.
By the way.... I would beg you in future to give a little more warning if you decide to film a spider the size of a Buick.
From that moment on, I kept getting distracted in every room by any dark spots on walls or ceilings, and this is a home worthy of one's full attention.
You make me 😃 Thank you. ❤️ Best wishes, Nick.
Good Morning Nick, from Greers Ferry Lake in Northern Central Arkansas
This is a amazing property that I would love to have there is so much I would love to restore it and the beautiful gardens omg It would be Amazing Nick !!
❤❤❤❤👌👍😍
❤️❤️❤️🙏😊 Nick.
I would need many millions to fix it. Even if I only wanted to do some of the buildings. I'm sure they all are too run down to save. Every one of the doors that you shown with that exquisite wood would ALL HAVE TO BE SAVED!
I want the liberty chandelier too!
I agree with you. The vibe is a bit off. The persons that buy this property need to bring in a whole lot of love to banish whatever is lingering.
@@kayfish7621 Well I’m glad it’s not just me. 🙂 I love everything I see on this property, but you could not pay me to step foot on it and I don’t know why.
I felt it in the back buildings , I wouldn't want to know. what went on there with the Germans. hm@@magsstewart5488
We’ve had a number of haunted houses. The last one we did is from 1857. In our experience, those that remain behind are usually appreciative of the restoration efforts, and I bet some love and elbow grease would make this a very livable property.
you can tell this dude loves his job
Fabulous Tour. Loved the original internal doors and windows. Great floor plan straight from the front door.
Great merchandise phrases.
Jacqueline
Thank you Jacquline. ❤️ N.
Nice home.Needs a lot of TLC
That table with the whopper marble I bet was a great pasta making table. Beautiful ❤️
Stunning
It would be a shame to change the interior, it’s a walk back into time. Wonderful 👏
Another great one!! I adore you talking to yourself, at yourself and answering...too funny. Also, that you groan over lovely objects. keep it up Nick. You need some merch of you talking to yourself "Can I?? Yes, Nick, you can" !!
Where is the roasted pig for the center of that table on 1st floor!! lol
What is the name of that fortified wine? Is it still made and will you die if you drink it?
That’s a great idea. Thank you. So sorry for my delay. ❤️🙏😊 Nick.
I’ll move in just for the spider!! 🥰
Wow, those figs looked amazing! Wish I could've picked one too, lol. Oh my goodness, the spider was huge! Glad he didn't jump off on you! It was like going into a time capsule! Exquisite! The main salon is very stunning!! Awesome!
Thank you 🙏❤️😊 Nick.
😍Love a good old rummage! Theres something exciting and satisfying about returning things to working order..What an interesting project. Id love to be young enough to tackle this. Treasures from front to back. Love it! Have a great week Nick. Thank You. 🥪☕️❤️🇦🇺🦘
Thank you sooo much you are fueling my dreams with each episode. I would love to talk to you ❤
My pleasure 😊❤️🙏
Amazing historic house………
Umbria bölgesinde, 4 kuşak geriye gidin. Çok iyi korunmuş.
Great tour Nick thought it was awesome that it was held by the Germany officer means there must have been some action around there so if i put in offer do i get the leather key hold that was in the door to got with it cus if not well offer of the table 🤔🤔🤔
Probably. ❤️🙏😊 N.
Congratulations!
Thank you so much
It’s my pleasure and so sorry for my delay. Best wishes, Nick. ❤️🙏😊
Oh I just loved that thank you so much Nick!
You are so welcome. 🙏❤️😊 N.
WOW.. Stunning ..
The best I can do on this one, Nick, is if I was a multimillionaire, I would buy this tomorrow. Wagonloads of money for this, but I can see it. Always love the properties with neverending rooms. The entrance hall and staircase was gorgeous already.
Thanks,
Neil
You need a week to do a proper rummage of this property 🍻
Notices headlamp and thinks, Nick is going to do some urban exploring.
Contemplated moving to Italy until I saw that spider…..
🤣
Nick the electric is old. Probably needs to modernize because of codes?
Yes.
That's quite a grand villa. Wouldn't make sense for me even if I could afford it, but for the right buyer this will be wonderful. That spider tho...
