TYPES OF INERTIA
INERTIA OF REST: The resistance offered by a body to change its state of rest is known as inertia of rest.
INERTIA OF MOTION: The resistance offered by a body to change its state of uniform motion is known as inertia of motion.
INERTIA OF DIRECTION: The resistance offered by a body to change its direction of motion is known as inertia of direction.
