Knowing your favorite loadouts in Helldivers, it makes sense that the first class you go for in this game would be the sniper. And yes, the infinite ammo potential is indeed unintended, so best make the most of it while you can. XD
Praise be to space king, err... I mean the emperor protects! Space Marine 2 looks like a pretty decent game for a soft reboot. A bit disappointing that we didn't get to see more of captain Titus in the deathwatch though. Great video.
It one-shots if you get the headshot, which is what you want to be going for anyway for the Cloak charge refund. Pretty sure if you stand still for 2s for the vantage point damage bonus it does one shot on bodyshots too, but even when it doesn't it instantly sends them into execute state which is actually better for getting armour back and staying alive on the higher difficulties.
SM2! Been loving the game - honestly been running bulwark and tactical a lot, and love how they handle most enemies. The only problem is when you get the double flyers that heal themselves...just too much regen to solo for me. Been looking to get into sniper for that reason (plus camo is huge for de-aggro since enemies tend to ignore AI players).
Bolt sniper just destroys the flyers yeah, 2 shots and they're done :P. Enjoy tactical a lot too, but bulwark is my lowest ranked atm, seems cool as a tank/medic!
@@newspiked7385 I just love power sword - imo it's the best melee weapon by far. Being able to block my way into the back line with shield then cause havoc for ranged enemies is super nice too. My lowest current is assault - super fun playstyle but just too glassy at higher diffs imo, they should have heavy armor or more mobility (more/faster jump charging? idk).
@@thepromman assault's my next highest at 20 :P. Definitely takes getting used to, constantly have to weigh up the risks of diving in and going ham, also think the class can let you go in on perfect dodges instead of parries. still putting it all together for now tho!
Democracy has landed! edit: it is mind boggling the amount of tyranids shown in just a single swarm, i guess each planet need to have space turret to shoot down their ships. also, how does tyranid ships operate? interesting...
Yeah, love the sheer volume of enemies it throws at you. Also very cool that taking out an elite does telepathic damage to all the chaff enemies nearby, really helps the elite killing classes do well.
Tyranid Hive Ships are actually living organisms themselves. They carry tens of thousands of bioforms to unleash onto the planet. Sucks that the ammo regen is a bug... your first video where I saw you thought it was an actual thing with the bolt pistol perks that was giving you primary ammo looked awesome (Seemed like a cool mini game) Was wanting to try the Bolt Sniper after that... but it will be stupid to use this over the Las Fusil once the bug is fixed, unfortunately...
Yeah, annoyingly the bugged perk has to be selected to get access to Reload Restoration, which is the legit way of earning ammo back...think it'll still be powerful once fixed, but will need a lot more trickshots I reckon. Reloaded Restoration is more powerful than the Las Fusil class perk, so here's hoping.
The perk that gives you 50% of your shots hit back as ammo on reload is bugged, it works as described, then when you switch weapons and back it fills your ammo completely.
I mean, conceptually in both games you are tearing through hordes of bugs, so to uninitiated they seem comparable. Although they have many differences, my favourite one is that in one game you are an elite of the elite and in another -an expendable cannon fodder. it's a bug, I thought it was the reloaded restoration perk but I think that actually works fine, it seems to be the +20% ammo perk just before it that's broken. kinda lame tbh because reloaded restoration is a lot of fun and would give you enough ammo to work with if used well.

@@newspiked7385 so ammo economy is still good with this build ? I’m starting to venture towards the bolt bc it feels better as a sniper so just wanted to make sure
@@xquantumx7052 You have to economise way, more, but yeah still very viable - use your bolt pistol for small groups of minoris, knife for single majoris, then use the bolt sniper for multiple majoris and large groups of minoris where you can proc Reloaded Restoration easily. For the fast-moving Extremis like the Lictors, I would actually stick to the knife as landing headshots is tricky. When you're near an ammo box, you can really go ham with the Bolt Sniper. The 20% max ammo weapon perk appears to be bugged, it just gifts you ammo every time you swap. A similar bug exists on the Las Fusil weapon perk but you need to be low HP. Hopefully they fix it soon because the Bolt Sniper actually can generate ammo legitimately with the Reloaded Restoration perk, but you need to be hitting groups of enemies to start running a surplus.
decided against doing a full build guide, have a feeling a bunch of stuff will get patched, but I'll put out a coop sniper run I think and then just show the skill trees
Bolt Sniper does the same (without the bug) and its version is even better, as it refunds 50% of the shots hit even on single targets, and if you hit 4 enemies with one shot, you get 2 shots, where Las Fusil only ever gives you 1 back. Las Fusil also has its own swap-for-infinite bug, but it needs you to be below 30% HP. Hopefully both get patched, as neither needs the infinite ammo to be powerfu.
The perk that gives you 50% of your shots hit back as ammo on reload is bugged, it works as described, then when you switch weapons and back it fills your ammo completely.
It's a weapon perk on the Bolt Sniper, in the last section (relic) - should have a short build video coming out tomorrow if that helps! I'm enjoying both the Bolt Sniper and the Fusil, but the Sniper has that edge in responsiveness for me.

Glad to see someone playing sniper with Bolt Sniper, I was starting to feel alone in my preference for it.
Yeah, I don't get the hate, it 2-shots Rubrics and has much snappier aim than the Las Fusil, what more could you want?
Damn this Helldivers update looks weird
Fully expected you to just cloak up and walk past everything until the finale.
Thankfully the cloak requires a little more action to feed it :P
