    I just ordered mine for 7.00. I also took the side cover off too check the ground attachment and it was already set too positive ground. Great job. It is a great little welder and if you use an extension cord make sure it is a heavy enough gauge too handle the amperage.
    Great video. Thanks.

    I got this welder and it’s a great little machine, I replaced that sorry clamp before I even used it first time, and also I got some Lincoln electric wire , with all that, I’m getting good looking welds , that pass the sledgehammer test 👍

    A BIG BLACK EYE FOR HARBOR FREIGHT
    I have a Harbor freight TITANIUM FLUX 125 WELDER purchased from Harbor Freight a couple years ago. I am a retired plumbing contractor and backyard hobbyist. I love to build things in my spare time and help friends and neighbors that need something repaired. When I retired and closed my business, I had a stick welding machine but had no convenient place to connect it at my home! It would require an upgrade to my electrical service not worth the trouble and expense! When I saw a couple reviews on TH-cam for this Titanium 125 welder, I thought that would be the way to go. I already had a 110 Volt 30 Amp circuit to my workshop!
    It took me a while to get adjusted to the flux wire welding. I built a minibike from scrap pipe I had left over from the plumbing shop. The welder allowed me to make other things and make repairs for others I wouldn’t be able to do without it.
    In the middle of my last project, I cut a couple pieces of metal and got ready to weld them and when I pushed the button on the welder, nothing happened! It was dead! The fan did not come on but the light on the ON/OFF indicated there was power to the welder. I checked the manual for a reset button or a fuse and found no mention of either.
    So, I called the Harbor Freight 800 number and was told there was no repair for this welder. Harbor Freight has no repair facility, and no support is available. I was told by two different tech reps there is no schematics or parts list available from the factory where this is manufactured. “It is not worth getting it repaired and cheaper to go purchase a new one!” If you purchase this welder or many other things from Harbor Freight You only have 3 Months Warranty. It is considered disposable after that!
    All the reviews and discussion I have read about HARBOR FREIGHT I have never seen anything about their total lack of support for their products! I didn’t even get an “I’m sorry” or any offer for a discount on a new welding machine!
    I am retired, was an electronics technician in the Navy, active Ham Radio operator and electronics hobbyist. I feel like the electronics in this welding machine is straight forward non computer controlled and any decent electronics tech should be able to repair this given reasonable support. I removed the circuit board from the welder and found where a small component burned of course not knowing the component value or purpose will make it difficult to replace. Providing a schematic and parts list is a very inexpensive form of support that should be a minimum requirement. Their claim to revenue of 7 Billion Dollars tells me they could afford it!

    I've got the flux 125 and also a big TIG/ stick welder. I use the flux 125 95% of the time because it's convenient and more than capable. TIG mostly just gets used for aluminum, and stick sometimes for thick rusty stuff.

      Ground Clamp was delivered today (8/17). It has a Lincoln Electric label with small type on it that says Made In China. It looks like the same sticker as the one in the video. Wow, it is very strong. Thanks for including this upgrade in your video.

    Not wearing a hood is not good at all. Been doing this for over 40 years an NEVER welded without a hood, not even tacking

    I had problem with this welder as my second HF welder. Purchased the Chicago Electric flux core welder and extended warranty. Burned that pos up. Built a deer stand base with it. Burnt up the brass end on this one. Could not find a replacement and thought a needed a new gun assembly which is hard to find. For the price, purchased a Hitbox 210 2-1 on EBay for like $60. Like it because it has the side flip door, handle and digital readout. Don’t think it is accurate readout cause it is a 110v but it seems to be hotter and smoother. Found a new gun nozzle (from China) so now I will have two of these little pos. Other one does stick so will dedicate this one to fluxcore and the other to stick. Really looking to get something like HH 210 or HI 230, so I can go heavy, but I am just a beginner anyways. Like to do fixes and junk art pieces.

    I would of used the middle one on the Titanium, and the new one on the Everlast. The bigger clamp should go with the 250a.

    Just received this welder as a gift. This is my 1st welder. Setting up my work zone and need advice. I have a wood work bench and a commercial stainless steel prep table. Can I use the SS table for welding?

    • @NickMango
      @NickMango  ปีที่แล้ว

      So usually people don’t use SS prep table because they’re thin metal. You can try clamping to it, but it might not work out that well. You can of course just ground to the piece though. People use wood tables and ground to the piece all the time. GL 👍

    I just ordered it for just under $8. Maybe they had ran out? Thanks for the video, I have the Titanium Flux also, I haven't used it much but the ground clam is definitely a weak link.

    I bought the Titanium Easy welder from Harbor Freight.
    Why does it stop and start welding? The power setting is low or high and the same issue. Also, the ground clamp seems to weld itself to the metal.
    Any thoughts would be great!

    • @NickMango
      @NickMango  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure but maybe you don’t have a good ground. Make sure the bolt to ground wire is tight. Also make sure the table you’re clamping to is clean. To test this theory ground to the part your welding and see if it’s better. Wire brush the part clean too. Bad grounds can make the clamp really hot. And dirty/paint tables can make it arc. Let me know. Thanks
