You center sheave on your speed changer is stuck. That center should move freely. Your slipping the belt for speed reduction. Both belts need the same tension to work correctly

Why not just adjust the clutch? The ball lock clutch works great. When adjusted correctly

Could you show a video on how that reverse works
The clutch needs to be disengaged before using the reverse. Plus you have to have the shoes on the axle hubs for the reverse to work.
