Thank you for sharing. I just bought my first david Bradley tractor along with sickle bar, plow & cultivator at an auction for fifty dollars. I’ve just begun to tinker with it.

Just an FYI for people dealing with stuck rusted parts. I have used a rust disolving penetrating spray for years called Zep45. It take patience and time to soak/ penetrate and it is pricey but I will use it over any other product with best results.😉

I have heard that the first original David Bradleys had "hanging cultivators". That one implement you have that don't have the rollers might have been for that first one that hangs from the handlebars.

On the old cables, I replaced the inside wire with a smaller wire, Mc master/Carr sells this wire in any size you can think of, I measured my wire and ordered some .010" smaller.
The wire is cheap and comes in 50' lengths

Mr. J. some DBs will leak 30 weight oil around the axle seals. I think some people stopped using 30 weight and tried 90 weight gear oil hoping the thicker oil wouldn't leak. Just a theory of mine. I believe National Seal still exist for people to get axle oil seals for their DBs if they are leaking. I wouldn't wan that job. That is a Mr. Snavely job. Check out his TH-cam channel. He has taken transaxles apart.

Hey Mr. J. Glad to see your video. Hope you will post more. You have a very nice collection. The most impressive treasure is having the choke wire for your DB. You never find them anymore. I don''t know if you have the DB library. You can get it at the following website:
anonfile.com/g2gdT0hbb9/David_Bradley_CD_zip It takes awhile to download but it has the most manuals than anywhere else. There are some listed on a GardenTalk blog that you have to join but they have helped many several times when I needed answers. I'm trying to finish my DB garden seeder this week. It was in good condition and I had all the plates. Some in not so great shape but I don't plan on using the seeder just preserve it. Take care and contact me if I can help with anything.
