I did a remake of this awhile back, you can do a similar result with a bandsaw, though requires cleanup. I also pondered a router jig on an angle to make the same sort of cut.
I know what you mean! I actually 'attempted' to make something like HexBorders (hexborders.com/) before I even had a table saw, which was a disaster. These days I might be able to actually do that. Maybe one day when I've got a CNC (ha), I'll be able to make the 'full' tile-hugging boards mycatanboards.com/products/bamboo-3-to-4-player-catan-board
Kyle Durrant About 10° - I did some tests on a bandsaw (which were awful, but let me try different angles quickly) and that was the most comfortable to me. Honestly I think anything from 5-15° would probably be OK.
Amilla Choi Thanks. We've considered it, but need to figure out a good way to batch them out so they're cheaper to buy yet still economical for us to make. One day I'll launch a store!
"How many clamps do you need?"
Me: "Yes"
This is exactly what I was looking for. But without that jig, there's no way to pull of that cut.

Looks great. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome dude!
Noah Elliott Thanks! Any other suggestions for wooden board-game accessories?
Paul Jenkins Could you make a settlers board holder? My settlers board is always falling apart.

Something like the "My Catan Boards would be awesome!
What angle did you set your table saw for this?
