To much samples and too expensive... lookfantastic calendar went out today and the packaging is bomb but no information whatsoever on the content ! I would love the travel-sized brushes, I don't wear makeup on a daily so only wear it when I'm away for occasions and I find because I am short-sighted and can't wear glasses when doing eye makeup I end up constantly whacking the mirror with the end of the brushes because the handles are so long and I have to go up close to the mirror, if that makes sense lol

I do love both eye palettes. They are gorgeous! So exciting! I do love advent calendar season. I am so ready for this. 2020 has been grim. I dont get the hype for advent calendars. They aren't even that cheap to get most of the times a bunch of useless products. £70 is a lot of money, literally yesterday I got a full face of make up products for £50 during the summer sales.

Compared to the Sephora calendars I have seen over the years this calendar is amazing! I agree with the shade range issue completely with the primer and powder but compared to other calendars I think this is definitely worth it.

I kind of got a sugar plum colour theme from this. Funny they didnt include maybe a nail polish line,some pretty large hair barettes, mascara,liquid liner,beauty blender,makeup remover, lip and cheek tint, glitter gel, i mean its xmas/new years make it extea special.

I will probably wait again for the revolution calendars and gift sets to go on sale on their website before buying them. The calendar prices especially when they launch are bit inflated compared for the products you get in them.

They must know their target demographic. They know the people buying are those who already know their stuff. What if they make the smaller advent calendar purposefully underwhelming so more folks are pushed to get the You Are a Star calendar?
I'm going to skip on this calendar. It was pretty disappointing. The travel brushes were a huge no. I'm waiting to see what is inside the NYX and Soap and Glory calendars as I loved them last year!
I dont see £70 quid in this! I've seen the superdrug advent calendar reveal which is 30 quid, and it's very similar to this apart from this one has the full size pallet on day 25. Will wait and see if it gets reduced in black friday deals!
Everyone is mad about the price of these calendars makes me realise how much they mark up the prices of makeup in African countries with our weaker exchange rates because i can easily spend 70 pounds on less than 10 makeup items in my country

They must know their target demographic. They know the people buying are those who already know their stuff. What if they make the smaller advent calendar purposefully underwhelming so more folks are pushed to get the You Are a Star calendar?

I'm going to skip on this calendar. It was pretty disappointing. The travel brushes were a huge no. I'm waiting to see what is inside the NYX and Soap and Glory calendars as I loved them last year!

I dont see £70 quid in this! I've seen the superdrug advent calendar reveal which is 30 quid, and it's very similar to this apart from this one has the full size pallet on day 25. Will wait and see if it gets reduced in black friday deals!
The Palette is only worth £4 so it doesn't add a huge amount of value ❤️

Everyone is mad about the price of these calendars makes me realise how much they mark up the prices of makeup in African countries with our weaker exchange rates because i can easily spend 70 pounds on less than 10 makeup items in my country
Can you let us know which ones will be available in the US? And where? I’ve never gotten an advent calendar. I want to get one as a present for myself this year but I want it to be worth my money and not cost a lot.
