I actually really liked how they put the lipglosses in it and they looked a good size too but idk I feel like there was a LOT of highlighting products overall a really good advent calendar 💕✨

I think the way they layered the calendar was in a certain order. It went brows to eyes to face to lips. Just a little thought :))
I really like this year’s calendar. I love that it’s all makeup and tools without the skin care. Multiple eyeshadow pallets is amazing.

I'm not even interested in the advent but I love watching how excited you get opening each day. Makes me wish Christmas was sooner so I could put up the tree!

They didn’t add a lighter concealer and used a medium one so both light and dark skin tones can use them if it was a lighter one deeper skin tones would have no use for it.
I am in love with this advent calendar, the eyeshadow palets come with such beautiful colors 😍
I agree the contents this year are by far better then last years, however I think I preferred the tree just because it feels slightly more Christmasy to me. But if the better products are because the tree cost more then I prefer the star. And I’m the same with you about the scrunchies, I like the idea, but I would have preferred different colors. Great video btw! ♥️ Can’t wait to watch more advent calendar unboxings!

I love the start! I could repurpose it and use it as decor. Or make my own advent calendar for someone else! Just paint over the logo and it could have so many uses!

I tried to see about getting this advent calendar, but it’s not available to be shipped to Canada. I absolutely love Revolution Makeup, and am so happy there are a few locations that carry a few items. Just wish the duty fees weren’t so crazy to get the more up to date items.
Do you have Ulta stores in Canada? The Ulta stores in the US carry Makeup Revolution products - I'm going to try them out
Maria D. - there are no Ulta stores in Canada, I checked the location map. I would have to cross into the US. I checked out the website, and they only have a limited selection of products that they will sell to Canadian customers.

I'm glad they've switched it up a little this year, saves on space with it being smaller and the mix up products with some new releases is brilliant 😊
I think this calendar looks great. I agree with you that there should have been a lip kit, though I would have replaced one of the 2 single face highlighters with it and kept the highlighter palette. I also agree with the person that suggested a makeup bag - they could have put the black scrunchie with the coloured trio and put the bag in that box. I liked that there were 4 different eye palettes - almost like one for each season. Putting the brushes together in 2 sets was a major plus point. Maybe they could have also put the lip scrub and lip mask in the same box, freeing up a box for maybe a primer or setting powder/spray?
ADVENT ADDICT!!! I really like the look of this one, I prefer the Christmas Trees, but this one stands out. Very nice to see some holiday colors and shades, but I'm not sure this one has the "Umphh" I'm looking for as a gift... Excited to see what's next Ms.!! GET WELL SOON MILO!!

Ooooo I love this! But I miss the tree and STILL so many highlighters. Love the scrunchies though and the fact that they’re all satin which is great for the hair.

i like the star design a lot with the different sized boxes. I think this is the most usable calendar I've seen so far! Apart from the scrunchies (I have short hair atm) I would actually use everything. Due to corona, I can't afford it this year, but I would have bought it if i had the money. Maybe I have a small chance of winning it, fingers crossed!

This is definitely better than the cheaper one they have this year. 🤩🤩🤩 I will wait for the Black Friday sales on Revolution website and then get this. I think the initial prices of their advent calendars are always bit inflated.

Based on my experience on previous years, they always stock-up for the Black Friday. I think it's the time they make most of their calendar and holiday gift-set sales.
The makeup beginner can get this advent calendar and ready to have a full-face make up right away.
