Granite Park Chalet painting- Time lapse

- This time-lapse condenses a whole day of painting. As you can see I did not copy the photo exactly but used it to inspire the painting. Making small changes is important for me to make a dynamic and more interesting piece.I will probably work for another few hours adding details and glazing once this layer dries but its much less fun to see that stage ;)
Granite Park Chalet is located in the heart of Glacier National Park at an elevation of 6,693 feet above sea level. The chalet was built in 1914 by the Great Northern Railway and is a National Historic Landmark. It offers a welcoming rest to weary hikers along the Highline Trail. It is one of the last chalets left in the park.
