I have shot two deer from the ground with a recurve so far. I missed the biggest buck I've ever seen while ground hunting with a recurve. I hit a vine that I didn't realize was between us. Good job.

Back in the early 80's and 90's i use to do most of my bow hunting from the ground it gets the heart thumping
