    You referred to the Aluratek as a transmitter in your first comments...its a receiver. Just hooked one up to my old sound system in my barn and put an old Android phone in an adjacent room. It works perfectly and I'm 71 years old!

    Hi, so I don't have spare audio in on my hifi. We already have a tuner, tape cassette and cd hooked up.
    Is there something like an audio in splitter, so I dont have to unplug any other inputs to plug in a Bluetooth receiver?

So you tell me how I can plug a Bluetooth receiver into the ghettoblaster to allow me to stream my music from mobile phone. I presently use a Bluetooth cassette adapter but want something better.

    • @ReviewKingHQ

  • @cezarsellsrealestate1005
    @cezarsellsrealestate1005 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I’ve followed your advice. It worked. However the effect is different than expected. I was hoping to keep quality of the sound similar to the sound I’m getting while playing cds on my cd player connected to the receiver and then to the speakers. When using Bluetooth adapter, the volume level on my receiver has to be almost all the way up (on the scale 0-72) and the quality of the sound is just ok. When using cd player, brilliant and juicy sound comes out of my speakers when volume level is barely 15. I have tried both wired adapter connected directly to my smartphone and wireless one made by Esinkin. The effect is similar. Volume has to be really high on the receiver to get rather average quality sound. The same smartphone used to stream music via newer, yet lesser quality stereo system, brings better sound than my B&W speakers. Does that mean using new digital technology with old stereo brings only partial results and more realistic approach would be to replace the receiver?😊

    Would a Blu Ray player with Bluetooth work as well? I believe a bluetooth capable Blu Ray can function as both a receiver and a transmitter thereby allowing a smartphone w/bluetooth to pair with the blu ray and play music through your AVR. Anyone have experience with this? I’ve been reviewing manuals from Sony blu ray and its frustratingly unclear.

      It would just be the audio but it should work!

    Can you have 2 units? And hook one units your TV and the other up to your Ehco Dot to use out side the house? And how about setting it up to your bluetooth speaker for an outdoor pool party?

    Trying to connect to a Polk subwoofer that is entirely wireless to a different brand soundbar. The only cord that is connected to the subwoofer is the power cord... no input or output jacks. My soundbar, ZVox AV155 does have pin plug output jack for it's intended subwoofer. Any ideas on how this could be make to work...??
