Experimented with the no intro thing. I think for newcomers this is a MUCH better format since it's not filled with a minute+ of me talking lol. If you guys like it I'll keep doing it! Also you can slot rifle elementalist instead of primed shred, almost forgot to mention that.
BP is literally my #1, tied with Dera and Latron Incarnon (Those two are also INSANE). Aside from extremely good damage, even without a Riven and low base recoil which makes it really good for long range consistent spraying, it's 600 Incarnon bullets lets you just POUR OBLITERATION into your targets. Like another comment said, The Gau-8 of Warframe. 😂
This with gauss...I had to make a separate build without fire rate because i would just waste so much in a matter of seconds even with trigger discipline
Man i had a perfect riven for this and i sold it for like 300p because it wasn't a weapon i was gonna mainly use. It's still really damn good especially in duviri.
Agreed on your comment about Phenmor. Volt wouldn't be the frame I'd use for Phenmor anyway, and it feels a bit odd that Phenmor supports a mechanic (no crits) that isn't supported by any Frame or something else. Makes it really difficult to slot in a proper loadout, even if it still works because it's a busted powerhouse.
I hate that you can't really take full advantage of the last evo if u want to make a headshot build 😭but yea I think the burston achieves what a crit phenmor should've accomplished.
Gun CO is useless on this weapon. Gun CO has a lasting bug that ignores any base damage bonuses given by incarnon upgrades. So for the Burston, the +42 base damage given is ignored by Gun CO. This means in Incarnon mode, the mod will scale off the 13 base damage instead of 55, resulting in 23% effectiveness of the Gun CO mod. You would need about 7 status effects for it to be better than Serration, so Gun CO will only ever be useful if priming with Secondary Encumber.
Well, for one thing, you can only get up to 80% bonus damage from galvanized aptitude (on the mod desc it says stacks up to 2x). But also, they fixed the bug with the base damage a while ago. I'm using it for extra status chance. Testing has shown that the difference in TTK is not that significant, and I prefer the status chance over the aoe damage since the aoe is already quite small.
The bug with the base damage was not fixed. It isn't listed in any patch notes and can be tested fairly easily. Kill 2 enemies and then inflict 3 status effects (in my case I used corrosive, heat, and radiation) with a minimally modded Burston while in Incarnon mode on an enemy. Then use the exact same setup with Serration & normal Rifle Aptitude (to make for the loss in status chance) in place of Gun CO. You will notice that Serration still results in more damage despite the fact that Gun CO should be yielding a 240% damage increase with 3 status effects. With a fully modded Burston the TTK difference is difficult to notice because the weapon is so inherently strong, but the difference still very much exists. Also, none of this has to do with AOE. This is all solely direct hits. If you want status chance, use Hammer Shot to give 80% status chance (same as Gun CO) and 60% critical damage.
@@OmegaTheMyth Like I said, the damage buff only stacks up to 80%. The fact that it competes with serration at all should tell you that it does in fact apply to the base damage evolutions on the burston. Hammer shot is a good choice, but the build itself doesn't have enough base damage for me to warrant using it over aptitude. Also, I mentioned the AOE since THAT is what aptitude does not work on. It's not a bug (at least considering the wording of the mod it should be pretty obvious it wasn't meant for that).
@@Finallin It stacks up to 80% after 2 kills and then that 80% is applied PER status effect applied. One status is 80%, two statuses 160% and so on. It isn't competing with Serration whatsoever as it takes something like 7 or more inflicted statuses for it to finally reach what Serration is dealing. Let me be perfectly clear as to what the bug is. Gun CO not applying to AOE is not a bug and is not what I'm talking about. The bug is that Galvanized Aptitude and its variants all ignore base damage bonuses provided by Incarnon upgrades. So again, in the context of the Burston, it receives a +42 base damage increase. In Incarnon mode, the Burston has a base damage of 13 which is increased to 55 by that +42 bonus. Gun CO ignores this +42 bonus ENTIRELY and instead scales based off the 13 base damage unlike Serration which does consider the 55 base damage. You're already getting base damage from the arcane, so both Gun CO (because its bugged) and Serration (even though better than Gun CO is still not doing much because the arcane already is) are not needed. Hammer Shot, faction damage, or more heat weighting would be what to go for in place of base damage mods.
@@OmegaTheMyth I misunderstood what you meant, that's my bad. Yes it does stack up to 80 percent, then is applied multiple times (I thought you were saying that the 240% gets reapplied 3 times lol). What I'm saying, though, is that regardless if the bug is a thing or not, it's still my preferred choice to achieve extra base damage on the weapon. Yea deadhead does give you a lot, but any extra amount goes a long way since this is a crit weapon, reapplying that critical multiplier rewards you the more base damage you put in. I've addressed this already in some other comments that the difference is not considerable enough for it to matter one way or another. I actually switched to serration + rifle elementalist on the general use build after I made this video. Just goes to show that it's personal preference, but the wiki should be updated since it doesn't mention the base damage bug on burston incarnon's page.
@Finallin Why does punch through work? in the incarnon form, the punch-through got the 'LOCK' icon beside it doesn't it usually imply punch-through wont work on the incarnon form after watching your video, I tried it out; it does work .. but why? haha

For one thing, galv aptitude is there for status chance AND damage. Using serration doesn't provide much improvement to the single target performance (I tested that with serration instead of shred and rifle elementalist instead of aptitude), since it still applies the full damage increase to the contact damage of the bullet. This build aims to take advantage of the punch through, like I said in the description. Primed shred just happens to also increase our punch through by a lot. I mention in the video that primed shred is a highly modular slot, and you can use a bunch of other things.
