- In this video, we spend the day in the boat on Truman Lake in Missouri, jugging for catfish! We are trying to catch flathead catfish, channel catfish, and blue catfish! If you are interested in learning how to jug for catfish, this video will help you get an understanding on how to be successful. Feel free to ask me any questions that you might have, and I would be more than happy to help. Jugging for catfish can be very fast paced and productive fishing. It is an excellent way to put a lot of fish in the freezer for the big get together and fish fry! If you LOVE catfishing, then THIS is the video for you!

Fun video. How deep is the water you typically jug in? Is there a sinker on those jugs as well or just the bait and hook?
Thanks! I shoot for 12 feet of water, generally. I just use the hook and bait, no sinker!

pool noodles cost too much i am going make a bunch of power aid jugs lv yours
I have used jugs in the past. I just find noodles to be easier to store. You can get a pool noodle for a buck at the dollar store. Thanks for checking out my channel, friend!

Do you need life jacket for kids in your state

I love jug fishing but the first thing I noticed was the little lady w/o a life jacket. Just sayin. Stay safe.
