For a better user experience, we have prepared this instruction video on Dash Cam Omni Firmware Update & 4G Activation.
After installing the 4G hardwire kit, please make sure your Dash Cam Omni is updated to the latest firmware version 1.1.31ww.
For users in counties & regions where 4G compatibility is not currently supported, please also install the kit for regular parking surveillance features (including AI motion detection, AI collision detection, and Time-lapse recording). However, you're not yet able to use any 4G-related features (including App live streaming, App instant alert, or Find my car).
We are continuously working to expand our 4G compatibility to more regions. Stay tuned!

the only thing missing with the 4g kit is to act as a wifi access point to share the 4g connection to an android device for example… please update mod 😊
I scoured the internet to find out what I'm doing wrong, because although connected to the camera's hotspot, access to the internet was completely missing. A comment that shed light on this, thank you.

I bought kit UP 04 from Aliexpress. I installed everything. You insert your SIM card. It seems like the light turns green after a while. But as soon as you insert the TIPE C cable, things start to go wrong. The camera sees it and says that it is trying to flash it. Then he says that there is no way to flash it. That's all. At the same time, on the UP 04 itself, as soon as you insert the cable, a blue light comes on. And the application displays a message. "The G4 module has been detected. Ensure a stable connection between the module and the DVR. Try again after the indicator lights up." What should I do, I can’t imagine?
After connecting to the dashcam the package doesnt show up for me :( no matter how many times i start the process from sketch

Hello 70mai, the prompt to activate the 4G kit does not appear on the app distributed on a US app store.
No 4G in U.S we pay same price but limited functions its a ripoff

I think 70mai should have ability to connect to wifi instead of 4g, that way one hotspot can serve the car and 70mai omni at the same time

If they do so the camera would never send notification if your phone isn't in the car. so the parking function with 4g module become useless
huh? No point to have Wi-Fi if the module can send data over internet. My understanding is that 4G module streams live video data over Internet. It is a cloud IoT. That’s why you can remotely watch your live feed everywhere out of your car.

Im unable to pair my 360 omni to UP04 module and it fails detecting my 4G module.
Also my omni 360 voice prompts saying 'Upgrading 4G module' and after that prompts " upgrading 4G module fails'

4G no funciona en EEUU y pagamos igual que en Europa y Asia.
Sin 4G no hay muchas funciones,quizá no avisa ni graba accidentes,tocan el carro,no hay vigilancia nocturna ni podrás ver en tu celular como los timbres de casa con lentes y al parecer descarga batería si pones en Modo de vigilancia nocturna

@@santiagochacon1912 Vivo en EEUU ayer me llegó sin el Módulo 4G para poner tarjeta SIM les escribí y dicen que es cuestión del Hardware nada más,pero pagamos lo mismo que otros,es una Estafa.
Sólo en Asia y Europa funciona 4G .

I have an issue during to use them. 70mai app gives me the notification that I have update software to 1.32ww from 1.31ww, and when I try to transfer update files from my phone to DashCam during to transfer I have got a lot of notifications that transfer failed I click to resume transfer and in finally when the transfer is done I have got a notification that update software failed please upload update files again. And transfer starts from 0% and again is the same with a lot of fail notifications and in finally again update failed.
Could you please help me how I can solve this issue and update my device?

I have an audi A6 with integrated sim and it can act as a hotspot to the camera very well.... Please make an update so that the camera can use the car's hotspot connection instead of inserting a 4G SIM card thanks

Pare consumi molto poco, si attiva all'occorrenza, quando sente il movimento. Cmq ci vuole il cavo apposito per farla funzionare in questa modalità
Tecnicamente il cavo ha un sensore di voltaggio, ad una determinata soglia si spegne per evitare di scaricare la batteria

How much data we need? Which sim card 10Go, 5go, 20go? How much data
Omni won´t update on 1.1.32ww. It connects but the download from my galaxy S23 Ultra to the Omni is very very slow (5 minutes for about 3%) and doesn´t finish at all after 20 Minutes (Omni says "failed to receive upgrade package"). If i push "Retry" in the app, it downloads additional 2-5% and stops again. This i can do till 100% and Omni says "OK" but it won´t restart and the app says "Failed upload". After a restart of the Omni, all starts at the beginning with 0% download. Some ideas how to solve this?

I am having the same issues my S23 Ultra, but I will try using my iPad to do the update.
Same phone, same problem. Used an S10, was "laoding" faster, but still failed. After 1 disconnection it was successful.
I have the error "4G module not detected" - did anyone have the same issue? SIM-Card is o2/Telefonica Germany, unlocked and works in my smartphone, the 4G module is blinking red...

Forcing people to buy the 4G module is a joke, what's the point of selling the connection system separately if they know that the camera is almost unisable without it, then sell the camera with the kit already included at a higher price, let believing that the dashcam can be used without the 4G module is a scam
