If a subject is not within the camera's field of view and approaches the car from behind, will the camera still detect it and turn backward, or does it only recognize subjects in front and within the camera's field of view?
Hello. I recently bought a 70mai Omni video camera and 4g hardwire kit. I have reservations about installing the 4g hardwire kit because I read that in parking mode it consumes a lot of the car's battery. What is true and the manufacturer's point of view? does hardwire kit 4g have battery over-drain protection? I look forward to your message. If you have a video of mounting the 4g hardwire kit and its configuration please send it. Thank you in advance.
I don't know why my cam is not working well 😕, I did the ADAS calibration, and I activate the Motion detection at high sensitivity but still not working well, when someone inter the view the camera it takes time to get yellow light then it takes longer time to get a red light for tracking after that if the person moved in any side of the car it not track them at all... any idea?
i activated motion detection but with the 4g hardwire kit.. it gets crazy at High sensitivity.. it will record almost everytime and send you notifications on your phone.. it recorded a delivery guy leaning on the side of the car waiting for our door to open but it didnt really moved at its direction, it activated and looked 360 degrees then stopped.. so.. its more like, when a motion is detected, it will wake up and scan 360 for 30secs then turn off.. aDAS is too noisy specially if you are in a high traffic situation and motorcycles are passing your side all the time.. i hope it gets better on future firwmware updates..
Does it require 100% of your phone? In other words if you’re driving you can’t listen to music that’s on there or you can’t receive a phone call through the Bluetooth on your steering wheel what’s going on

It's a very valid question I hadn't thought of. I am getting this dash cam in another day or two. I'll check to see if you can do both. Still interested in the results?
I noticed that when I walk away from the vehicle I lose my Wi-Fi. There is a 4G hard wire kit that is only available in Europe and South East Asia. You are not aware of this until you check the website.🤔

That cam does not work the way they say, the motion detector does not follow the way they say.
Parking surveillance doesn't work that good or at all.
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution for it?
