Divorce is bad enough but a stroke to recover from unreal. Worst thing about a stroke is family members condemning you about the things you didn't do...j

Wow! I relate so much to Susan’s experience. I’m also young (for a stroke) and a very fit person. I’m passionate about taking care of my health. Regardless I had a stroke. My stroke also started when I was taking a bath. I’m in recovery now and it’s going good. Thank you Susan for sharing your inspiring recovery story. I strive to be just like you in my attitude!

I'm happy for this lady that she had a job after the stroke. I was in industrial construction so there is no job for me.

I was lucky to be at work when it happened. I work at clinic so my coworkers knew right away something was wrong. We were close to Northwestern so the paramedics were there fast and they immediately knew what was wrong with me. I wanted to tell them no, I was young, but I couldn't talk. They're why I'm alive

My brother suffered a Massive Stroke at 59, he is 61 now. Has Aphasia, right side paralyzed. Nothing has changed. Has no insurance, nobody wants to deal with this!

My brother had a massive stroke last night due to his drug use. He's over 300 lbs and didn't get to the hospital for almost a full day so I sadly we don't know if he'll ever be normal again. Before the pandemic started he was only around 200 lbs!
