This was an excellent recap, I’ll be going back to York this October 2022. It seems that model trains are just more popular in the cooler/colder months because there’s less to do outdoors, maybe. Thanks for watching and your support. OGR has a several page thread on it, but essentially the gear boxes have too much internal side to side movement or slop and the hears wear down very quickly. It comes from the original k-line tooling they used

I have the tmcc copy of the PRSL interurbans…. Lets just say the conventional ones are way better!
I almost went tmcc but I liked the interior on these better. Sounds like I made the right call!
